search & filter function doesn't work in inventory: i try to filter my foil and the result don't appear
Thanks for reporting, fixed now.
I added a new filtering option to the site deck listing, that can be used to list some subcategories of decks:
- decks you clicked "+1" on (liked decks)
- decks you have viewed in the past (like a 'navigation history' of sorts)
- your own decks, so that you can filter them by name / format / cards
- decks you commented on
This is a first tiny step in the direction of better deck management, finding interesting and new decks, and I have more stuff planned & will announce soon. For now I just added a little link in the menu for "liked decks", and it's probably confusing and unintuitive, but I plan to clean the whole deck stuff up.
Next up is a primitive "deck finder" that would show decks you can build from the inventory cards, and finally some Arena support, cause it's almost out of beta!
You don't lose any data when you go back to basic, all the stuff is there, you just can't use the features. So for example the notes you put on cards in decks are still there, but you can't modify it. As soon as you resubscribe you can modify it again.
Added experience & saproling & oversized commanders. Thanks for the reminder everybody & for the image links bellerofonte1986!
Added today, thanks for the reminder rfioren:

Some overdue imports and cleanups today:
Unstable is finally "stable" on deckbox , I added the alternate missing card versions and printings:

Older reprints that we were missing added today:
Salvat / Hachette 2011: https://deckbox.org/editions/490-salvat-hachette-2011
Foreign White Bordered: https://deckbox.org/editions/491-foreign-white-bordered

Summer Magic: https://deckbox.org/editions/493-summer-magic
Simplified Chinese Alternate Art Cards: https://deckbox.org/editions/494-simpli

Additionally there are various performance and infrastructure-ish improvements deployed, some pages should be more responsive, not sure exactly where it's noticeable
Bunch of database updates went live today:
- Commander 2018: https://deckbox.org/editions/488-commander-2018
- Commander 2018 tokens:
https://deckbox.org/editions/489-extras-commander-2018
- 2 more 2018 Judge Promos are also listed now, Vampiric Tutor and Nin, The Pain Artist.
Will be up today. They're lagging because I'm normally waiting for wizards to post them on gatherer to have a source I can scrape for the information. Entering 307 cards by hand is a very lengthy process, and an error prone one.
Most sets that are translated, I also import translations, with translated card names, and images. In this case there are 7 languages, bringing the total of card images to 2149.
Thanks Sebi, I know for one I have been asking for this a long long time. My thoughts are that if they are ok with a signed version, they can turn strict matching off to find it.
Agreed, will change this today too then.
Or, alternatively, shade the Decks Count cells in the Inventory listing if they're higher than the inventory. Similar to how decks work if I'm short a card to build the deck.
Should be fixed & visible in inventory now.
Is there a way to find cases where "copies in built decks" is greater than "copies in inventory"?
If you enable the "Decks Count" in the inventory listing, you should see the difference there. Is that not what you were looking for?
I have changed the behaviour of matching cards with regards to the foil flag in trading opportunities, and in the "Matching Cards" section displayed when visiting a users profile.
It is now strict, meaning if I have a Mountain in my wishlist with no Foil set, and userB has one in his tradelist, with foil set, it will not match us.
I think this matches the way that most users use the website, and was requested quite a few times. I am still thinking if this should also be applied to all the other flags (artist proof, signed, altered, misprint). The downside would be that it will be harder for people to find you are trading away a card they want that is signed, unless they specifically indicate in their wishlist that they want a signed version....
What do you guys think?
Could you check now? Should be fixed.
Oh, neat, I've been hoping for something like this! Question on one of the interface details - when I pick an edition of a card, the inventory count goes from a single number to an X/Y pair (some of them are X/Y pairs already). Y is obviously the total owned, but what's X? It's not the number available, and it seems to be 0 most of the time.
It's the number of cards in the inventory with those exact details (printing, condition etc).
One question: Does it not show the count in red if you don't have enough for all your built decks?
It didn't, but now it does, thanks for the suggestion
What are the chances there is a feature on the way/in existence that will, while building a deck, tell me if given card I own is already in another deck I've marked as "Built"?
It does, simply enable the "Decks Count" from the Columns dropdown in the deck listing. Then you get a number, and clicking that shows the deck panel with all your decks with that card.
Clicking on the "Edit" drop-down doesn't do anything for me. I tried both Firefox and Chrome. Are other people able to set the edition?
It's premium-only, the button should be disabled and have a tooltip explaining, the tooltip is buggy I think. I thought of not putting the button there at all for free accounts, but I thought that way people would not know that even such a possibility exists until they upgrade to premium....
Hello all,
In today's update comes a long-awaited feature: the ability to better specify exact printings and details of cards in decks, and some quality-of-life features that make it a bit easier to see which printings in your inventory you are using in your decks.
This first version provides the following features:
There is a new preference dropdown in the deck listing, called "Pricing", that has a new option "My Inventory" (which is the default for built decks). When set, the printing for the cards in the deck is "guessed" by picking the cheapest option you have in your inventory for that card.
Additionally, each card row in the deck listing now has an "Edit" button next to the printing, which can be used to pick:
- one of the printings you have in the inventory for that card, or
- the default printing for the card (the former default), or
- a custom printing, which you can manually edit
If one deck contains multiple printings of a certain card, the same "Edit" menu can be used to pick "Add a new row for the card", which then can be pointed to the secondary printing.
Feedback is appreciated as always!
I found another pricing issue that will be fixed later today, that might be why they were slow to change.
The "New Member" thing is indeed something from this forum software and has to do with the number of posts. It's not really relevant for anything though.
Yep, had some issues in the morning, all fixed!
Daretti Emblem from the Anthology is missing
Should be this one:
https://deckbox.org/mtg/Emblem:%20Daret
ting=39869
Some panels are still very slow, not sure why, something to do with the alpha database. Will be fine on live though.
I made some fixes and redeployed the alpha environment today, I want to do the release on monday morning.
Still missing (to be finished later today) is the presence of the details in the csv export. It will be there for the live release though.
Added the experience token now.
