I have a question, on a trade I sent out (with DC) the last update on the tracking is "Delivery status not updated" after being out for delivery on June 20. The person I'm trading with claims he never received the card, and I have yet to receive his cards after just over a week (he didn't send with DC, my bad for not making sure he would).

If this doesn't sort itself out, what do I do? I have a feeling that the mailperson just forgot to scan the bar code for the DC before sticking the bubble mailer in the destination mail box, but of course there's no way to prove that. Furthermore, what happens if I don't get the cards from this person? Am I just out of luck?

It's been a week since you proposed our trade and I accepted - are you still interested in doing it? I've had several other people asking me about the Snapcaster, but I do want the cards in our trade.

Is anything weird going on with Deckbox so that you can't replay to my messages or something? I know you can read them, since it tells me that much, at least.

I have an Izzet, Selesnya, and a Simic Guildgate, all DGM.

Oh, and a Dimir Cluestone as well.

Let me know if you're interested.

Alright, it's not that bad, but...

http://deckbox.org/sets/128696?s=l&o=d

Dragonstorm was not the rare I hoped to see. Life from the Loam isn't TOO bad, though, I guess.

Anyway, take them off my hands - all the cards! I can find stuff.

Also, at what point do you just cancel an accepted trade? I have a trade that I accepted and confirmed my address on the 5th - the person I traded with didn't yet, and I've sent multiple messages. He's read them all, yet hasn't responded. I really want the cards I'm trading for as I need them for a deck - yet it's not like it would be all that difficult for me to trade a Snapcaster to somebody else...

Is the 5.80 flat rate as small as it gets? Guess that will have to do. $6 in shipping isn't unreasonable to pay for 20+ boosters, right?

If you use PayPal's ship now shipping (or print the shipping label straight from eBay), it'll cost you $5.15, AND includes tracking.

I'm a bit new to using eBay for anything bigger than a hard case and 2 cards. Is that for the flat rate box itself? So I just pick up the box, pay online, print/tape, and send?

Essentially, yeah - pick up the boxes you need at the post office (or I think you can order them and your mailperson will drop them off) for free, then when somebody's bought your auction, you click the print shipping label link or whatever it says next to the finished auction on your selling summary page - it'll take you through the rest of the process. I think you may have to agree to a few things the first time you do it, but it's been really handy for me. Only thing I wish is that I had an *actual* label printer rather than a normal one, so I wouldn't have to cut out and tape the label on myself every time.

(Also, make sure you don't cover the barcodes on the label with tape)

I hope that helps.

That's crazy talk. One stamp in a single envelope will ship 7-8 cards in penny sleeves with a top loader. Its never failed me

I've had to pay extra postage several times when people have sent me cards like this. If it's over 1oz total (which happens when you have more than one top loader and roughly 5+ cards), it costs 66 cents + 20 cents for being non-machinable.

So, use 66 cent stamps when you send in envelope with a top loader, or it might either get kicked back to you, or the recipient could get that nice little slip asking for more money. Write "non-machinable" on both front and back too. That way you don't risk the machine shredding the envelope and the cards simply getting lost at the post office of origin. Add another 20 cents if it's over 1oz.

Are you actually up in Nederland, CO? If so, where do you play?

(I'd be interested in the Fountain, but I don't have anything on your list, so...)

Depends on how much extra - but if you find stuff you want, sure!

Here's my wishlist

Note: the Sacred Foundry's there only in the case of a Shock swap (unless you have some Unlimited stuff I want wink )

I'm literally just looking for all the stuff with merfolk and elves on it, among other things. If it is a group of common/uncommons for those three sets, Lorywn, Morningtide, and shadowmoor. Can you get that together and quote me something?

I'll start a trade. I need to dig to see what I have, but I can do that tonight.

Honestly for 15-20 if its mostly Zendikar Block and up I would be intersted. I'm playing again after a long break (lorywn block) so getting a bunch of commons in some of the sets is something I'm trying to do on the cheap. If you really have a boatload of commons and are willing to look for some specific things I could work up a list and maybe offer a little more per card for your effort?

Dude if you have bunches of commons from lorywn to shadowmoor please oh please sell me a box of them =P

For the record, I have a ton of those (commons and uncommons mixed, actually) that I've been planning to stick up on eBay, just didn't get to it yet. No Manamorphose or anything remaining among them, though.

You can fit about 520 cards in a small priority flat rate box, if that helps... if you use PayPal's ship now feature, it costs $5.15, and tracking is included (you just have to print the label yourself - laser printer's recommended if you don't have an actual label printer).

yeah i see where you're coming from haha.  i guess i can sort 'em out and see what i got later.  might do it for as low as 15 for the whole dang thing plus shipping.  i think thats a much more fair price, yea?

Completely depends on how many cards there are, obviously. Large collections of commons don't go for very much on eBay...

Why does it really matter? If the seller has to pay the fee, he'll obviously charge more to make up for it. For certain cards on eBay, you end up receiving tcgplayer mid anyway, and then minus 9% in eBay fees still puts you above tcgplayer low.

Bump!

Just opened a box, got some cool stuff, some meh. Trade for it! I can almost certainly find stuff on your list.

Some haves:
Blood Baron of Vizkopa
4x Varolz
2x Aetherling
Deadbridge Chant
Temple Garden

I'm waiting for a few Varolz that supposedly shipped today, if you're not in too much of a hurry.

$164 for an SP playset of Force of Will, shipping and insurance included? Where can I get this? Sounds slightly too good to be true.

Here's my Tradelist

Available:
Restoration Angel x2
Food Chain x4
Terminus x2
Elvish Piper x3
Akroma, Angel of Wrath

Stuff.

Bump - hoping that somebody need Restoration Angels and have Swords.

As for the Mana Vault, no luck sad

Not really related to the post, but I'm interested in your Mana Vault and Temple of the False God, let me know if you see anything!

Okay, I need to check when I get home, because I appear to have somehow lost a Mana Vault.

Related to that, there's been some Deckbox discrepancies in my inventory lately, which has me worried a bit... it's added quantities of cards that just aren't true. I'm not sure if there's a bug or not, but it's definitely added my cards together wrong somewhere when cards I've received from trades add up to the wrong numbers despite starting at 0 and me always checking that all the cards are there. I don't really trade outside of Deckbox either, so that's not the problem.

I really need 4 of these. I'm willing to trade Restoration Angels, Terminus,  or a LotV out of Inventory if the deal is right (values matching up with cards I want/need, that is).

LootPinata is also entirely correct, and the BIGGEST issue is that the USPS is horribly inconsistent. I have had over 130 successful trades on this site alone, and for cheap trades, a stamp on a PWE is sufficient for mailing. However, every so often a batch of envelopes gets kicked back to me for insufficient postage.

Just curious what you mean about USPS being inconsistent. I've never had any real problems with them either, though my company's seen envelopes returned for insufficient postage as well. My understanding is that they just don't check ALL mail to make sure postage is enough (seems like that would be terribly inefficient and add lots of extra cost), but that they do it every now and then to make sure they're not getting completely screwed over with people ignoring restrictions.

Also, technically if your envelope contains top loaders, it will need another extra 20 cents for being non-machinable.
