What classifies as a large inventory? Im having the same issue, but I wouldn't have thought mine is particularly big (under 4000 unique cards).

It is right now disabled for all inventories with more than 1000 cards. But I am working on rewriting it, should be back & usable in a couple of days. I will post an announcement when it is deployed.

We do want to address the buying and selling of playsets too, not sure yet in which way but it's definitely on the list.

Thanks for the feedback and keep it coming. We want to fix whatever issues you have with our system, so you do not have to go sell cards on EBay smile.

I do believe the buyer can leave negative feedback on any refunded payment without permission of the deckbox team.

If they leave negative without reading and abiding by seller policies, we will remove it. The buyers also see a message on their order saying they should read the seller profile before submitting.

We know it still works - but now it does not show the individual cards with their individual prices like it use too

Which prices are missing? The same prices as before are displayed, only now they are to the left of the card image instead of on top of it. You can select a different printing from the menu on top, just like it was before (only the button looks different now).

Plus the actual "add to inventory" is on the bottom of the screen.

This might be an issue indeed, I'm also not completely satisfied with the positioning.

now are slower than dirt because it's clunky and cumbersome?

It should not be any slower than before, if it is I am sorry, and will try to profile it and improve its performance.

The old dialog version had many problems and usability issues that we just did not know how to solve. I am sorry you do not like the new version, and I will try to think how to improve it.

CSV export has some problems, I'm currently rewriting it. Should be available again later this week.

Ctrl-I still works, and it opens the card page in a new tab, so you do not have to navigate away from the current page.

What do you mean by "less than optimal"? smile

What specifically bothers you about them?

Jassi, as far as I can discern, the TL;DR of the stuff you wrote is that in your opinion fairportmagic should get out with no repercusions from this (ongoing) scandal.

That is not possible.

So another user has opened a BTR to early. https://deckbox.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=22802 Curious if he'll be receiving a negative or if fairpointmagic got one because basically he annoyed the deckbox mods. Or if in fact he got a negative on one trade because of his dissatisfaction with the outcome of a different trade.

What are you suggesting jassi? That we just let fairportmagic go with 100% feedback after we cannot reason with him? Don't YOU want to know when visiting his profile that he has behaved the way he did in 2 consecutive BTRs?

Looking forward to your answer.

Investigating, not sure what happened, server was under very high / abnormal load last evening.

I have edited out my previous reply, it was tactless. Apologies.

To get back clear headed to the matter at hand, if we do not enforce a -1, the only other way to punish him would be to completely suspend him from trading. We have no other ways to indicate that he was involved in a convoluted, problematic BTR where in the end he could not even come to an agreement with the site administrator, let alone his trading partner.

There could have been a rule that generated this outcome (I don't think there is, but I could be wrong), but rather than defining such a rule it just feels like the lesson is "don't piss off the admins." I'd feel more comfortable if fairportmagic were allowed to "get away" with this one but if a rule was defined for the future that would explicate how users would be punished for abusing the BTR system.

Well this is true for any business or venue, that is why you see the text "we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone" on many policy documents.

If moderators and administrators cannot reason with a user, then it is time for him to leave, because it means he cannot be controlled and he just does what he wants.

Well the alternative to a -1 is then to completely suspend him from trading. If users think that would be better here, I'm willing to do that.

I tried it a bit, I think you guys are right. Users should open in a new window from trading opportunities, will change it back for that page.

Both of these updates really do affect the usability of the site for me and are, in my opinion, definitely steps in the wrong direction.

It really does not help if you just keep repeating things. You said that before, we got it smile

Also, the "Clear All" doesn't seem to do anything for me on the Trading Opportunities page.

Will fix.

What I liked most was the deckbox when searching for information on how many letters had in inventory overhead, including the value of each updated card, it facilitated much time to do business. Now the same information is in the lower left corner of the screen and does not have the price of the cards.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by this.

Can we get the old trade opportunities back? The ability to click on the traders name and have a new tab appear was great. Now I have to go back and reset all the setting ( allowing traders with less then 5 feedback to appear) while with the old page it was easier to find trade partners.

I had thought it's a bit confusing if many links open in new windows.

But you can get the exact effect by holding CTRL while clicking on a user link, it will open in a new window. Is that not sufficient?

Fixed thanks for reporting.

I'm not getting the second page of my ``Purchase Opportunities'' to come up.

Fixed now.

I'd also like an option to sort that by # of cards available --- I want to do some bulk orders to catch up on various things (getting back into Magic now that my son is playing).

Nice idea, added it to the todo list.

I saw a temple of whatever come up (a scry land) and I have zero interest in any scry lands.  Also you should show the shipping price.

Yep, both good points, will do.

it says "admin" at the top right (which probably doesn't need to be visible to me)

Correct smile

I'd like to see a button to view it as a visual spoiler instead.  I realize I can do it this way but if I'm already looking at the set, why not give that option there as well?  Obviously this is not a priority, just something I was thinking about.

True, good idea. I do want to do much more with the set listing, also provide it as a checklist in inventories, and also the spoiler view you mentioned. Will think about it.

The loudest group isn't always the majority. wink  The rest of us just didn't have much to complain about.

Good point smile

Makes the site not nearly as usable, opening new tabs and windows and such. Ugh. Bad move.

The feedback on the release where we introduced this was almost 100% negative. Now it seems when we undo it, it is negative again smile.

Also don't like the site pitching cards to me at all, regardless of the price. I have 0 cards on my wishlist, so maybe it's just pitching me random cards? But I don't want any of them and I don't like the selling pitch box even if I WAS in the market for cards.

We are trying to monetize this website, and the ads you see there are part of our trying to do so. Please understand that the continued development and maintenance of deckbox depends on it being a self-sustaining business, which it is now not, as I am working full time with 0 income, living on my savings as of now. But I do believe in the successful future of deckbox, and I'm trying to make it happen.

I will consider adding an option in your settings so you can disable the ads if they bother people so much.

On the card details page, can we show by default our "Trades" as well? I'd like to get all of the info that's in the pop-up dialog into a single view -- we're almost there, but it seems like just the trades info is missing. Thanks!

Added.

Yep, found the issue, will fix. Thank you.

Later Edit: Fixed!
