P.S., any good, cheap targeted removal that works on black creatures? Doom Blade is cheap, but I'm worried about the popularity of black because it's solid and popular in the DoTP games.
It is really hard to make a post-rotation deck pre-rotation. You basically choose not to play 1/2 of the available cards, many of which are good. You are better off not playing standard until rotation if you don't want to aquire cards that are going to rotate soon because your deck won't be as good as someone who is playing with those cards + RTR block & m14.
If you are already planning on not playing constructed until Theros comes out, why worry about it now? It is impossible to predict what decks will even be viable post-rotation. BU might be great or terrible, we won't know until we see the Theros cards. If you like blue and black, just draft it a lot have the cards available to make blue and black decks after rotation.

I definitely agree with Sebi that it behooves all of us to be nice to people who are new to the community. Magic players are a subset of a subset of a subset of people and we can use all of the friends that we can get because, lord knows, the rest of the world sure doesn't understand.
That being said, Wally_H, you're going to do what you feel is right. Just stop acting like a jerk about it.
It isn't. Most people on here think that while it wasn't cool of you to back out, that his absolute insistence of giving you a negative is making him the douche. What most people here probaly think you should do is offer to trade with him. If he wants your gaze, you find something of his you want. After all, he has stated right here he doesn't want something for nothing. Unless of course Wally is confusing the phrase "compensatory trade" with "they have to give me stuff for free"
If that is what he expects you to do, nobody is on his side. Honest. I think if I had been on the other end of the trade with you, and I was a black cat card collector, I'd have said ok. I might have left you a neutral, but this pushing for a negative thing he is shooting himself in the foot.
You can add me to the list of people who really wouldn't want to trade with a guy like that after seeing his forum tempter tantrum.

I can't use them to buy magic cards because no online store that is affiliated with discover sells magic cards. Unlike my amazon visa, which I use the rewards to buy all sorts of cards, my discover points are useless to me for this hobby. That being said, there are a ton of store affiliated with discovers cashback program. Really just about any store you can think of is affiliated.

As you can see I don't use my discover card often enough to rack up enough points to put towards a credit on my balance (minumum 50 bucks).
I'm looking for either cards on my wishlist or staples that I can trade out of pretty easily likes shocks. If interested at all open a trade with me or post here.

Honestly for 15-20 if its mostly Zendikar Block and up I would be intersted. I'm playing again after a long break (lorywn block) so getting a bunch of commons in some of the sets is something I'm trying to do on the cheap. If you really have a boatload of commons and are willing to look for some specific things I could work up a list and maybe offer a little more per card for your effort?
Why would you throw them away if someone would pay you a penny a card plus shipping? It is still a net positive to your cash flow for things you'd never use. I would take a box of 1000 commons from standard, especially if there were no more than 4x of a given card. You have to price yourself with the market. I can buy a set of 4x commons & uncommons for $40 on ebay for each set. So if you want to throw 1000 commons in a box, your price has to be lower than a sorted group of commons and uncommons. It is still worth your while imo if it is sell or trash.
Is there something or someone I should contact about getting added? I requested a few days ago and it is still pending, I tried searching on the mtg subreddit and didn't see anything.
