On sending first - I almost make everyone send first with me.  I've completed trades of greater than $700 where people have sent first to me since they have significantly lower rep.  I think my new baseline is about 150 trades completed or previously have traded with me before for a simulsend.  But, hey, each people can set their own rules.  Those are just mine.  I have never had problems and you can ask anyone who has traded with me, the turnaround from me is fast.  Typically if someone isn't willing to at least discuss sending first, I won't even trade with them because that seems off.  Once again, just my opinion.

In fact, recent rep comment: "Only took one week from when i sent my cards to when i got the cards from him. Very quick." from Mazinem.

On cross-format&trading down - I don't always accept trades cross-formats, but sometimes I do.  I think it depends how badly I need the card one way or the other.  Same goes for trading down, sometimes I'm willing to trade down.  Sometimes I ask for extra value in a trade down, which I also think is fair.

Also marumari is right, the "new" features were set to debut in February/March this year.  So much for that. neutral

I have tons of foil Zendikar lands I'm willing to sell.  I also have probably > 100 foil non-Zendikar lands I'd sell too.

I have a WWK JTMS for shocks if you are willing to give a little bit of value on your side for the trade down.

What are you valuing the FTV GSZ at?  I have one I can trade.

Not necessarily, why?

Maybe around $160 tcgmid (close to the price before FTV:20 was announced and where I think he will head again soon once people realize they hate FTV foiling).

Bump.

I'm going to want to even the gap.  I'm not looking to trade $15 cards for $10 cards just because. neutral

Started a trade including an Ooze.

Hi everyone, I have a pile of old shocks I want to trade towards RTR&GTC shocks or foil RTR&GTC shocks.  I upgraded my cube's from RAV block shocks to Foil RTRs so I have no use for the old ones.  I also had some old ones I was using for decks that also got swapped out recently.

I have:
1x each Breeding Pool / Hallowed Fountain / Watery Grave / Steam Vents / Overgrown Tomb (signed)
2x Blood Crypt
2x Temple Garden
3x Sacred Foundry
3x Godless Shrine
8x Stomping Ground

I also have an extra JTMS that I would be willing to trade into shocks.  I'd probably want some additional value on this since I am trading down, but it is up for grabs.

I'm not specific on which I want, I can use any and all.

Lastly, always willing to trade for the foils on my wishlist.  Thanks!

The only time he tried to trade with me he was really aggressive about pushing a trade through despite my continued claims that he was overvaluing his cards.  Shrug.

Not going to lie, I've been waiting for a post about him

Same.  Always see those people you just FEEL are going to be scummy.

The most expensive card in your tradelist is a $4 card... you're going to have trouble finding people to trade you Wastelands / Plateaus for a pile of $2 cards.

500 for $30 bucks or so.  Ask anyone that has traded with me, these are quality. smile

This has happened to me before, it sometimes works out.  Don't give up hope yet.  Especially Maryland, I've had the most issues with sending stuff to that state.

Haha, yeah, I feel you.  I was fortunate and got them early.  Only paid maybe $10-15 each.

I'm using them again in a deck and since M14 reprint doesn't seem likely, might as well hold onto them.

I can do .12, sorry. Forgot to change my profile here.

up.

same as before, more stuff sold, bump.

I have 11 Foil Zen lands I would trade towards fetches.

2 Island
2 Plains
1 Mountain
6 Swamp

LMK if you're interested.

More stuff sold.  Updated.

I agree with scurvey, cheap doesn't mean "practically free".  We also don't want people just buying cards and turning around and trying to resell them.  The thing people aren't understanding is that TCGplayer low sellers are typically new sellers on the site, meaning the cheapest they can offer shipping is $0.99.  This adds on to the cost of the cards, which we are often not charging ourselves.

I can do that, starting a trade.
