Hey guys,

Thanks for the feedback. These are both things that we would like to implement soon(ish), especially an advanced import widget.

Hey  guys,

Database is  up to date with Crown of the Heavens: http://deckbox.org/games/wow/cards?p=1&f=7344

Thanks for the heads up.

With regard to exporting, deckbox can export your sets in csv format. I think if the other guys support any kind of import, you could get the csv to look like their format by changing it in google spreadsheets or something of that sort.

Hey guys,

I would love to import them, but we really need somebody to send in the scans, and noone has yet done that sad

Hello,

I think you are right, this adding to tradelist action is still a bit weird.

My initial thought was that people would often use their inventory to browse their collection, and when deciding to trade something, they would edit the tradelist counter while looking at the inv listing.

The other usecase is when getting some new cards that you want to trade you don't want to add them into the inventory and then for each mark it as tradeable, you just want to add it to your collection directly as tradeable.

Out of these 2 thoughts, the current system was born smile. Truthfully, I can see why it is sometimes useful, but most of the time confusing smile.

Thinking about it now I would probably make it a checkbox in the tradelist add cards dialog, with a clearer text. Or an explanation spelling out the fact that you have the choice between:

  • Adding a card to your collection directly as tradeable (when you don't already have it in your inventory

  • Adding a card to your tradelist that you have already added to your inventory

Good catch! Will fix!

I think I understand what you mean. You would like to use the trade for a while to "think about it" before proposing it. And during that time you don't want the other guy to mess around with it too much. Right?

Although that sounds like a pretty reasonable request, I'm not sure how it would be best implemented. I would suggest to just write on the chat to the other guy. "I'm still thinking about this trade, I will propose a configuration later today". He will probably understand.

A little chatting goes a long way! Hope that helps smile.

Ok, thanks for the report, we will look into it. Definitely a bug in our sorting.

Hello,

If you click "Show canceled" on the top right of the completed trades list you will see a few more trades, and one of them will have the "unread message icon".

I think this is the trade called "MB" http://deckbox.org/trades/6124?s=10610

Edit: Of course, you can kind of get around this a little with changing the column sorting, but I've noticed in the past that the order of results can sometimes shift around between pages when sorting by certain columns, making it less than ideal to work with.

The order of results should be correct regardless of the pagination. Do you know by any chance in which situation it was wrong?

Hey, pretty cool. Thanks a lot! smile

If you use the Advanced Input dialog (choose the rainbow dial in the Add Cards dialog), then all cards you enter will get condition / language and edition assigned a default. We're considering making that the default input option, because many users miss it.

I have to admit that editing card details for already big collections is a very daunting task. We do have a couple of ideas for improving that, we'll see what we can do smile

This has got to be the most thoroughly documented bug report I have ever received smile. Thank you very much for reporting it.

The problem seems to be at the point when you add a card to your wishlist. You should not get the red exclamation mark, that is a bug, and the following dialog that you get after clicking the exclamation mark is wrong as well.

Right now I'm working on a better reporting of prices by edition, and will update the detailed cards dialog in the process, so I will also fix this issue. If all goes well it should be released in one week's time.

Hello guys, I merged your topics since you both posted about similar issues.

I'll answer the simple questions first. You can not have multiple inventories or tradelists right now, and this feature is not planned to be implemented soon. Having multiple accounts is against the rules because of possible trading scamming, but if the reason for having multiple accounts is clearly stated in the profile, we will not ban anyone. smile

The longer answer is that we have promised (a long time ago big_smile) a feature that would allow users to tag cards in their inventory / tradelist / wishlist with custom tags, and then filter the set by these tags.

We've actually designed the widget and the functionality now, and I'm looking forward to implementing the first version of that sometime in the following weeks.

That feature would allow Paul for example to tag (while inserting them) cards as "Location: MTGO", and then by using a simple filter to see only those in the inventory. It will still not be a very strict separation between those cards. They will still behave the same when added to trades, or used in trading opportunities listings etc. So if you guys do want a very STRICT separation, multiple accounts is the only way.

If the labeling solution is sufficient, then keep an eye out on the annoucements forum in march smile

You can very easily get this checklist view by going to card database and filtering by edition. The first column there is your inventory count. You will see both cards you own and those you do not own, and you can modify your wishlist counts for those you do not own if you so desire:

Hello. Sorry, it was indeed a glitch in our user database. We've fixed it so now you should properly be able to edit your profile details.

Hello,

We've written a little bit on this issue in this announcements post: http://deckbox.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=1461] towards the end.

The gist of it is that the widget had some performance and usability issues, and it will come back in the near future, redesigned.

Amazing updates!

With the exption of one thing, I really liked the trading opportunities. Sometimes I entered the site just to see it. I'm sad to see that it has gone away.

Not to worry, it will come back soonish(tm) with a much better design smile

What kind of problems are you experiencing when trying to add to your tradelist?
