Hey Sebi, I had a guy reach out to me via email that used to buy cards all the time, asking if I still would. He’d pointed out that my account apparently still has some cards marked as Cards for Sale, but not all are in the trade list. I have been poking around the account and various spots trying to figure out how to differentiate between Tradelist and Cards for Sale, but for the list of me I cannot pinpoint it. Are you familiar with this issue?

Fantastic, thank you

Not to keep adding to your list, but just a reminder to add the MagicFest 2024 Counterspell https://scryfall.com/card/pf24/1/counterspell

As a new owner of a gem mint graded card, there is no way to flag a card as graded. Think that will ever come to be an option?

^ this guy, simply the best :-)

I'm not seeing Tazri, Stalwart Survivor promo pack version available yet

Well I’ll be… had no idea that was a thing :-)

Interesting cards for trade? Where is that located?

I wanted to submit an idea for a feature that I think would be highly useful, in searching for forum I couldn't find an idea submission quite like it, so here it is.

Fill in the Gaps (or Fill-In Opportunities)

The idea is simple, you have XXX decks in your deckbox database, many of them may be in various states of completion. You do a trade with someone to acquire missing cards but then perhaps over a period of time you forgot to slot them into the intended deck. Or you bought a collection from someone or a box of cards of the newest release or whatever situation, and do a mass addition to your collection. Well, you can't be expected to remember that you were missing a Pongify for that one deck you only pick up once every six months. Wouldn't it be amazing to have a button/link that would show you a list of your decks that have open slots where you actually have the card unassigned to another deck?

The way I envisioned it is similar to Trading Opportunities. Once on that page it would list your decks, it could show the icon next to it if it is Built or Idea (not really important but could help a user prioritize which decks to focus on, maybe). I am no developer, but I think the easiest marker would be if a card has been tagged. Obviously if [card] is tagged to be in [Deck], then it would not show as available. But if [other card] is not tagged and [other Deck] shows that it needs it, then in the primary list it would be able to simply show a number (i.e. 5) which would indicate to the user that [other Deck] has 5 cards that are in your collection that are NOT tagged. Then you get excited because you can go into [other Deck], go find the missing cards, slot them in, update/tag those cards accordingly, then go right back to Fill-In Opportunities and start working on the next deck.

I think something like this would be amazing for anyone who takes full advantage of the system and has a large collection of decks. Thank you for everything, Deckbox is incredible.

Sebi, think this will ever happen?

Thanks Sebi. I think the matching or whatever you want to call it, is brilliant. I found an often frustrating occurrence when I would paste in a new decklist and the system would automatically align an existing card that I may have, but then it would disconnect it from the deck it is currently in. But now, that's not in. Pasting in a new deck list is a blank slate and you have to manually assign every card and that's awesome. Thank you.

Sebi,
I started dabbling with the tagging and I just wanted to say, A+! Such a spectacular feature. Additionally, while I'm at it I also wanted to give you applause for adding the proxy support. I am a big user of proxies and being able to actually add them to inventory and marking them accordingly is truly the best. Thank you to you and your team.

While this is unfortunate for some, it makes complete sense. There are a lot of marketplaces out there for people to take advantage of. Just last night I was packing up a large card count order worth a very small dollar value and as I was pulling the cards (mostly basic lands) I couldn't help but to think that Deckbox is one of the only places that I have ever offloaded basic lands.
Does anyone think that perhaps trades will become a psuedo-marketplace with respect to "hey, I need these cards from you, but would like to just send you $x.xx for them"?

This seems like a great addition, thank you. I'd be eager to learn more about how the community is using and taking advantage of this new tagging feature?

Tagging would be an outstanding feature!

I was thinking something similar, but I'd be pretty please with a separate section for tokens, not unlike sideboard and scratchpad

PROXY SUPPORT!!! Thank you thank you thank you!

I'd like to report to Deckbox admin that Sebi is great!!! :-)

I also have been wanting this for a long time. I have many proxies of high-value cards that artificially inflate my inventory and it would be great if they didn't. I've been thinking about this for a while, and despite a lot of people asking, it is unlikely to come to fruition.

As a an unsolicited suggestion, here's what I do. In my decklist I will select the Edition on the right side as Custom, then make everything "blank" except for condition which I make Poor. Then I'll add a Public Note/Tag #proxy. This way, I know I have a quality proxy in the deck, but it's not artificially inflating my inventory valuation. Just a suggestion.

I just noticed that Orzhov Signet ( Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur's Gate, # 867 ) is a common but in the listing it's uncommon

I wasn't certain where to post this and perhaps someone already has a solution. Let's say I build a deck and in that deck I have a By Force from Amonkhet and that one copy is in my Inventory as well. Then I go and paste in another deck that I'd like to work towards building that also has By Force in it. The system currently shows that one copy of By Force as being in both decks despite only having one in inventory.
For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to lock a specific card from my inventory into a deck and NOT being "available" for another deck. Anyone have a solution?

+1 for this
I use proxies in my EDH decks for cards that I have, for example I had a Mox Diamond but I would like it in multiple decks so I use proxies in place of it. The playgroup knows openly and are fine with it. This would be a terrific feature.

All, I just posted a bunch of Kaladesh sealed boosters in the Marketplace. Go gobble them up while they last.

Hey all,
I saw an artifact combo recently and thought I'd give a go of creating a deck around it. Looking for thoughts and suggestions please.

The idea is to get a 5 card combo in place: Animation Module, Fabrication Module, Decoction Module, Spontaneous Artist and Cryptolith Rite in play. Assuming you have all three artifacts in play plus the enchantment, soon as the Artist comes into play, it begins the token creation infinite loop of:

Decoction Module triggers, creating 1 energy
Fabrication Module triggers, creating 1 +1/+1 counter onto a creature
Animation Module triggers, pay 1 mana, create 1/1 servo token
Artist gives that token "Pay 1 energy to gain haste", pay, then hasted
Cryptolith gives that token "Tap to add 1 mana to pool" to pay for the next trigger of animation module

The idea is that once this loop is created, there is a nearly limitless number of 1/1 tokens in play. Does that make sense? So here's the deck I had in mind. Each card is chosen to serve an obvious purpose.

Creatures
4 Aethertorch Renegade
4 Architect of the Untamed
4 Spontaneous Artist

Instants
2 Glimmer of Genius
2 Harnessed Lightning
4 Scatter to the Winds

Artifacts
4 Animation Module
4 Decoction Module
4 Fabrication Module

Enchantments
3 Cryptolith Rite

Planeswalkers
1 Chandra, Torch of Defiance
1 Jace, Unraveler of Secrets

Lands
2 Aether Hub
4 Botanical Sanctum
3 Forest
2 Inventors' Fair
2 Island
4 Mountain
4 Spirebluff Canal
2 Westvale Abbey
