Ah, okay. Thanks! I had a haunting feeling there was a button somewhere and I was just dumbing my way past it. XD

I have a message from someone on Deckbox, according to my e-mail. How do I access my messages? When I click on 'Messages' on the left, all I get is old support case and an old dispute. Is this a paid feature or something?

Does anyone have any recommendations on how to actually trade in latter-half 2021? I'm having insane mail problems, to the point that I've decided to take a break from online trading until things have sorted out.

More than one package of mine - send with tracking - has now been out for several weeks, with only "In Transit" as an explanation. I've filed missing mail searches to no effect; I honestly don't know what to do to get these cards to their recipients, who have been waiting very patiently.

Can anyone recommend relatively inexpensive services that are NOT the USPS, since apparently sending with tracking via USPS doesn't actually do anything any more?

This is an understandable question, but I think they're fine as-is? I thought a card's color was determined by its mana cost. If it has no mana cost, doesn't that mean it has no color identity (colorless)?

History lesson time.

Once upon a time, there was an industry where the powers that be caught on to the idea that there was money to be made by printing special editions of things.

Foils. Collector versions. Lots of versions of the same item. Premiums. Prices rose across the board, and normal versions of the same item actually started to become harder to find with the passage of time. Casual fans started to get crowded out by speculators over the next big shiny thing.

The problem was, because everything was special, nothing was special. Being special became mundane, and the mundane became worthless...and thus, harder to find. Stores wanted to carry the pricier versions of the new products, after all. More money to be made. And as long as the prices could rise, the companies would profit. So why not? Why not line their pockets with the dollars and ride the rollercoaster for as long as it would rise?

That industry was called Comic Books.

And it CRASHED HARD.

Barring some kind of course correction, I anticipate a hard crash sometime in 2022. I expect Hasbro to sell WotC, because their demands of "always make more money this quarter than the previous one" will not only not be met, but won't even come close. I expect Magic to take a few years to really recover from that. In the interim, I expect a lot of people to sell their collections and get out of the game while the getting's good. I hope to be in a position where I have money to take advantage of the steep decline ahead of us.

I would definitely like to see a dark mode for this site. It's a bit eye-searing at times.

As much as I enjoy Deckbox, it's a bit like staring at the sun sometimes. Maybe implement a night mode for people with light sensitivity?

I'd like an "any" field. For example, suppose I have a spare Garruk (I don't) and I want to see everyone who's looking for a Garruk. As far as I know, that is presently impossible. (Please advise if it is not impossible.)

I would be interested in seeing the ability to implement two price filters simultaneously.

How many cards do I own that are worth more than $3.00 but less than $5.00? Right now, there's no easy way to tell.

In case anyone is keeping an eye on this thread and hasn't seen yet, Throne of Eldraine prices are now live!

I think a lot of people have Throne of Eldraine cards they want to trade, and to trade for. Hopefully, this will be happening sooner rather than later.

It seems to only be available to premium-tier users.

First of all, apologies if this feature already exists and I just wasn't able to find it.

I've been here for a few months now, and I've had almost entirely positive experiences. That said, there are just a couple of users I know I'm not going to want to trade with in the future. Could a way be added to block a particular user, so that you no longer see their name in Trading Opportunities and vice versa?

No matter how much Bob I-Only-Trade-At-50%-Profit-To-Me, Joe Upgrade-My-Card-Condition, or Steve Steal-Your-Stuff might have cards I want, I'd rather french-kiss a wood chipper than give them the satisfaction.

Hi there, still pretty new to this site (as you can probably tell by my score). I just wanted to get some feedback on something.

One thing I keep seeing is that I'll send someone a message as part of a trade, and I'll check back later...they've logged in, but done nothing. No message, no confirmation, no alteration, nothing. They've just completely ignored it.
Then I'll check back even later...and again, they've logged in, seen my message, and done nothing. Completely ignored it. This will generally continue ad infinitum until I cancel the trade.
I would feel differently if they hadn't logged in and seen my message (hey, sometimes you need a few days away from the site, I get it) but - if I understand correctly - there's no possible way they could have missed both the message and the new trade offer.

Is this normal for Deckbox? Most of my previous trades were responsive even if it took them a little time, but lately, I'm seeing more and more people that will repeatedly log in and ignore my messages. Not even refuse the trade, just let it sit there forever, completely untouched. Since I'm the new guy here, I'm trying to get a feel for how common that sort of behavior is for this site.

Thanks in advance!
