Version 2.0 is very good! Well done, guys. As I don't trade cards, but only track my MtG collection and decks, I have only several things to ask for:
1. Edition\language etc. defaults when adding cards: would be great if these options remembered my last choice. It's not very comfortable when I choose defaults then switch to some other page and when I'm back to adding cards, I have to choose defaults again.

For future releases:
1. Folders in Inventory (just like Decks) would be great to have a possibility to sort the collections. For instance I could have one folder for older editions I'm collecting full sets, one folder for playable cards I use to construct my decks, one folder for cards for exchange etc.
2. Other languages interface.
3. Other languages card search and add (so uncomfortable to go to Gatherer to find right English translations for Russian card names), and foreign card pictures.
4. Possibility to insert my own card illustrations (for promo, full art or textless cards).

Yes, the problem exists, I've experienced the same stuff.

And another one thing (don't really know whether to post it here or in Site feedback and discussions). Would be great to have a possibility to create folders inside Inventory just as we can do in Decks. Together with working Spoiler View that would make collectioners' life easier: I'd like to divide cards I collect (now I'm trying to collect full sets of Classic Six and Seventh Editions) from cards I use to play, and Deck-like folders would be great thing.

Now Inventory list of cards looks much better. I like default values when adding cards - that's what I wanted to have.

There are some questions on alpha release:
1. Seems like View - Spoiler doesn't work in Inventory. Is it a glitch, or Spoiler view will be only in Card Database? Will it have highlighting owned cards?
2. I'm Russian and I don't quite understand the difference between Edition Owned and Edition Printed in options. What is the difference? If Edition Owned is only Editions that I have, then, first, seems like it doesn't work for me, and, second, would be great only Editions I have to appear in the drop-down list of this option.
3. In Inventory Search & Filter there is no Cost column? It useful when I want to find a card in my collection with the same cost to replace weak cards in official decks.

And a wish about Export option:
Would be great to have a possibility to Export to CSV only checked cards and delete exported cards from Inventory (could be checkboxes for these options). For example, I want to give a bunch of my M-2013 red cards to my brother (who has an account on Deckbox, too): I just check these cards, press Export checking "Only selected cards" and "delete exported cards from Inventory" and send the file to him. Cards disappear from my Inventory. He takes the cards, comes home and just imports the file I've sent, and he already has these cards in his Inventory by only a couple of clicks.

I think that after alpha version becomes Version 2, it would be great to think about internationalization:
- interface translates
- foreign language card search and thumbnail display (already discussed that, but it's really not very comfortable to open Gatherer (which has Russian card search, and thumbnails) to find a correct English name of the card to enter it to Inventory. The same - when building decks)

Thanks a lot for a really good job done! I'll include the link to Deckbox to my MtG Russian forums signs, maybe that will make some more people from Russia to register here and Russian interface plus Russian card search would attract even more Russians.

Well, as for "collector's view", yes, everything works. As Russians say: "I didn't notice an elephant". big_smile
But this has to be a little bit improved as well:
- In the full set card listing it would be great to highlight all the cards that i have. Well, I see, that there is Inventory quantity column, but cards I have highlighted opposite rest cards of the set that I don't have in dim color would be more illustrative.
- Another one thing necessary for "collector's view" is search\display\sort (especially!) by card number (x\350 as ususal).

As for export file, I tried to do that, seems like it works, but than the next question: how to Import from CSV to my (or my brother's) inventory? Import from csv tool is also needed for Inventory.

And another one. In language property (when adding a card to Inventory), please fix Russian. Now it appears as "русский язык" (russian language), usually we use simply "Русский" (Russian). Thanks.

Another one thing for Inventory (which is not obvious and, maybe, will be used pretty rare): Export entire inventory or checked cards.

For instance, I took almost all cards from my brother and entered them to my inventory. My brother has just created his account on deckbox. Now I decided to give the cards back to him and concentrate on getting cards from the very new editions for play, leaving collectioning for my brother. I'd like just to transfer my MtG inventory to my brother's account (for him not to redo the work I have already done).

Or maybe I would like to transfer my Inventory to Excel (of whatever) table or my PC database.

And another one thing for Inventory: I would call it "Collector's view": ability to view all cards of particular set highlighting the cards I already have.

Thanks for Your reply. Looking foward to see the new version! As fot the city, yes, this is correct, I need Nizhnevartovsk. And as for internationalization, I think that when You start doing this, You'll find many enthusiasts to help You with translation.

So far I'll keep filling in my inventory and wait for new release.

Well, that's reasonable, but then Inventory needs another one column (and cards - another one property): Language, it can be important in some situations.

I'm new to deckbox.org. I'm going to use it for complete inventory of my MtG cards. I use deckbox for one day only, but already I have some issues to tell.

Card Inventory functionality:
1. I started to fill in my Inventory and noticed that often card thumbnails are from the different editions. For instance, I have Unholy Strength card from Unlimited edition. In 'Name' column of my Inventory deckbox shows correct edition sign, but in 'Edition\Rarity' column it shows Magic 2011 edition sign and shows card thumbnail from Magic 2011 edition (which art is completely different from the card I have).
Would be great, if users had an option to display the same cards from diffrenet editions (or with different art) as separate cards with actual thumbnails. Well, probably, it's not so important for players and deckbuilders, but is pretty important for collectioners.

2. Would be great if Card Details' properties were a little bit updated. Now Properties has a list: foiled, textless, promo. What about foiled promos? smile I would add another one property: "alternative art" and make Properties as checkboxes instead of the single-choise list. (By the way, about alternative art. Would be great to have possibility to add custom thumbnails for really rare cards).

3. Different languages cards where already discussed here (http://deckbox.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=3317), but as an addition I think it would be great to add 'Language' column to Inventory. For instance, I have both English and Russian cards, so I would like to see in my Inventory whether the card is English or Russian. And sometimes people (especially beginners) I play with ask not to include non-Russian cards to my decks, so I have to keep it in mind while building a deck to play with them.

Interface improvements:
1. In Inventory I used Columns setting to display only those columns I need. But after adding a new card this setting is back to default. Would be great if columns settings always remained the same (as user set them).

2. If You really need that commercial banner at the top of each page, could You move it higher? Now banner divides top toolbar (Add card etc.) from Inventory table which is not comfortable when adding many different cards at a time.

3. Would be great to have interface translated to other languages.

4. More cities need to be added. I'm from Russia, Khanty-Mansy autonomous district. Deckbox has only 2 towns in this district: Surgut and Radujniy, while there are more towns in our district, and some of them (like Nizhnevartovsk) are not so small - over 200 000 population.

And finally:
1. This Forum definetly needs Search bar ('cause it took me a while to find Search among menu options) and specific BB-codes explanations (like mtg BB-code).

2. iOS\Android app is a great idea, too.
