Both. I've tried:
a)copy-paste direct from the csv file
b)copy-paste from the csv into notepad to remove formatting and then copy-paste into deckbox
c)typing
All of them give the same result.

I'm not trying to upload a file, but either copy-pasting a list of cards or even just typing 'Centaur's Herald 3' in the box produces this result.

I've got an issue when importing a card list for a deck.
If I type the following in the card list mode:
Centaur's Herald 3
Deckbox returns a message saying that there is an error, and transform the above into the following:
Centaur's Herald 3
Any ideas?

Improving filtering / sortering for the trade interface is really something that would improve deckbox immensely.

I've got a full black colour deck, including foils, rare and uncommons for trade.
Including the following rare:
Jarad's Orders
And a bunch of uncommons such as:
Vampire Nighthawk
Diregraf Captain
Wight of Precinct Six
Abyssal Specter
One Thousand Lashes
Pestilence
and many more, and also two foils:
Basic swamp
Festering Goblin
I also have a series of rares from other colours for trade, such as:
Battle of Wits
Elite Inquisitor
Nephalia Drownyard
And for the right trade will also consider including the following rares:
Isolated Chapel
Leyline of Sanctity
Aurelia, the Warleader
Champion of the Parish
