My Forests are showing as forests now, but so are my two Karplusan Forests.

On old cards like this condition makes a big impact on their price.  If you decide to sell the cards individually, the best thing you can do is take good pictures.  These are high value cards and people will want to see the front and back and probably a couple closeups of any damage.  This makes eBay a good platform for selling, but if you don't have an established eBay account with a history of good feedback you'll want to start with the lower end cards to build up your reputation. Getting the cards professionally graded is not worth it unless you have cards that are perfectly centered and you cannot find a single flaw on them (looks like they came straight out of a pack).  Grading the cards is a slow process and only really adds a premium if you get on the highest end of the scale.

Alternatively you could start playing the game again.  wink

I'm not sure, but if we're using this thread to request additional format filters, I'd like to see "93/94" and "pauper" as options in the format filter list.

Holy shit, it's like Christmas!  big_smile Thank you!

Will try to get the promos today and the unstable variants just after finishing the deck details feature!

Thank you!

Have you considered adding the books? I think it'd be a fun way to help find books

+1, I like this idea!

Nice work!  smile

Are you planning on adding the variants from Unstable?

Hascon promos don't currently have pricing information.

I have some matches with you, but looks like a lot of it is M10 bulk.

Sometimes I like to look back on my old trades and see what I gave up to get a specific card.  It would be nice to be able to search my trade history for these.

Also fixed the foreign images not showing in spoiler mode.

Thank you. smile

I only have a few foreign cards, but this is still a really nice update.  Good work. smile

It would be real cool if visual spoiler mode also showed the same image as the mouse over.  big_smile

edit: just FYI, you have blood lust showing up on Nightmare.

I already have Emerald and Jet, but I'm looking to complete the set, so if you have the CE or IE moxes Sapphire, Ruby, or Pearl, then I'd like to make a trade with you.  big_smile

That is all.

The closest thing I know of is ManabaseCrafter.  You pick an EDH general, and it shows you ALL the special lands that are in that general's colors.

This post is going to be very similar to the one I have over on MTGSalvation, but I've re-worded it for Deckbox and tried to shorten it.

The format 93/94 has been a growing trend over the past couple of years.  The goal is to bring back the feeling of playing with the cards from the early days of Magic.  This is mostly a casual format, but decks are often expensive, and the cards are hard to track down.  I thought it might be useful to have a group on Deckbox for those seeking these great relics of the past.

This format was first organized by a group in Sweden, who created a nice blog to share it with the world.  They developed a ban list and set up the framework for the format which has been adopted by others.  Now there is some fragmentation on legality lists and sets allowed as different regions adopt the format and add their own rules.  Generally speaking though, all groups allow the sets Alpha-Unlimited, Arabian Nights, Antiquities, Legends, and The Dark.  Most groups now also allow Revised or newer printings of legal cards, and some groups have added Fallen Empires and Collector's Edition.  If you find an old school event, you should check with the tournament organizer to know exactly which sets are legal and which restricted list they are following.  The general idea is the same everywhere though.  This format is about reliving the experience of playing with the cards from the very beginning of the game.

For the most part these events are intended to be casual and fun events.  Events are generally not DCI sanctioned, and tend to have trophies that are low in monetary value.  Recently though Channel Fireball adopted the format by posting their own deck construction rules and ban list.  Many in the US are following the more relaxed deck building restrictions as laid out by Eternal Central (as opposed to the list created by the Swedish group where the format originated).  Many places in Europe seem to be allowing FBB cards.  There's also a difference in ban list as the Eternal Central list allows 4x Strip Mine whereas other areas have this card restricted.  If you play this format, feel free to adjust these rules to fit your local group.

The website Eternal Central has started hosting an annual Old School Event, which coincides with Eternal Weekend (a regular Vintage event) their rules are more inclusive of allowed sets. In fact they will allow any printing of a card provided it has the original artwork and is in the old frame.  This includes Collector's edition.  They also play with a modified banned and restricted list which notably allows for decks with 4x Strip Mine.  Other things to note about Eternal Central events: They play with Mana Burn, and they allow Fallen Empires.

Even with this limited card pool, there are lots of ways to approach deck building and all colors are viable and fun to play.  Below are a list of links (copied from my thread on MTG Salvation)

why is Jayemdae Tome UNL worth about 40 or maybe even a little more than a Jayemdae Tome Beta, is that a pricing error or is that in fact the case.
Beer Guzzler

Price is low on the Beta.  I reported it.  ABU games buylists the Beta at $112.

Also thank you Sebi for this feature.

Wow, a feature that actually makes me want premium!  Good job!

I love this site.  As usual, great update.

This is great! smile Thanks.

How about a simple 'The person with less feedback always sends first' rule?

A person with feedback under a set threshold must send first seems like it would solve this.

I do like the idea of 'verified users'.  Users who have done something to confirm their information.

edit: +1 to this:

+1 as well

Also, implying that people who don't want to be premium members don't support Deckbox is ridiculous. Perhaps if the additional features were more appealing, people would sign up.

I also don't want to pay montly for premium features.  But I do sometimes sell cards here, and have paid Deckbox for that privilege.  So even though I don't have 'premium' you are making money from me (even if it's only a little).  I love this site, but I have no interest in the current premium features.

I would really like a way to flag cards from that card's page (kind of like how Puca Trade has a little flag icon to notify the site admins of an incorrect price).

Coming next week.

Awesome!  Thanks for your continued efforts.  Deckbox continues to be the best place I have found for trading cards online.

Unlimited Mana Vaults are now showing up on TCG player again.  Prices range from $75 (Heavily played) to $124.99 (Highest NM).  They may be over priced there, but they are still under priced here.  Logging into TCG player and looking at the last sold mana vault (Unlimited) it shows up as a lightly played copy at 51.92, and e-bay sold copies are around $50-90 for the past few weeks.  ABU games doesn't have any in stock, but has a price point on them of $99 for NM copies and is buying them at 56.25.  I know there are not a lot of real price points on this card to look at, but it seems higher now than $34.

Reserved list cards have spiked, and I don't see that change reflected here.  People are asking for my Grim Monoliths almost daily now and sometimes offering the shown price in cards, but those prices are wrong.  Sometimes the price on what they offer is wrong too.  Mox Diamond, LED and basically all original Dual lands have all changed prices recently as well.

Chalice of the Void still hasn't updated either.

I would really like a way to flag cards from that card's page (kind of like how Puca Trade has a little flag icon to notify the site admins of an incorrect price).
