Hi Castle357, welcome to the forums!

I have many cards in other languages as well and I agree that it would be very helpful if we could either search all languages, or otherwise specify the language when searching.

A workaround is to find out the English name of the card by looking it up using information about it you do know.  For example, here on Deckbox you could search the Card Database by filtering on CMC (cost), color, and type.  Alternatively, on Gatherer, I personally have found it easiest to search on artist actually, along with CMC, and color if need be.  That usually narrows it down a lot!

Hope that might help you a bit in the meantime.  But in the long run I do hope we get the ability to search in other languages!

This has been requested multiple times already:
December 2018: https://deckbox.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=30513
March 2019: https://deckbox.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=30653
November 2019: https://deckbox.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=30984

But each time there was never any response.

Could we please add more than one Commander in the deck builder? sad The Partner mechanic has been around for a while now and appears in several official Wizards decks.

Thank you for any help.

Admittedly nothing constructive to add, but just wanted to express my ongoing appreciation to all of you working hard to keep this site running so wonderfully! It is truly an invaluable resource!

By the lack of response, I am guessing there may not be enough interest? For what it's worth, I have some database experience (SQL, VBA) and may be willing to volunteer some of my time. Thanks again for reading, anyway.

For others like myself who are looking for a DBS deck builder, I did find one that is at least somewhat comparable to Deckbox, here: http://www.dbs-decks.com/#!/  I am not affiliated with that site in any way, I just found it from some Googling and thought I would share.

Hi all. A quick question - has there been any consideration given to adding support for the Dragon Ball Super Card Game to Deckbox? My friend who also uses Deckbox recently introduced me to the DBS TCG, and we were both wondering about its support here. I see that it's one of the featured games on TCGPlayer, so it appears to be popular enough to warrant it, at least! I searched the forums here and I didn't find any discussion about it, so I just thought I would ask. Thanks for reading. smile

See attachment.

I didn't even know about that!  Very handy.

aw, unfortunately this is an option for premium members only. Cannot justify paying 5$ a month to just use that feature! Guess I will just have to be careful when creating decks that I don't put more cards into a deck than I have available

You do get more than just that with a premium membership!  I have consistently felt it is worth the money and have renewed several times.  I guess that sounds like an advertisement, but... I actually like this site a lot!

Hi guys. In regards to the partner ability, are there any plans to update the commander input to allow 2 cards in the deck builder? Also, it'd be nice to be able to input a planeswalker aside from the 5 default commanders.

thanks,
robby

These things!  Both of these things!  Please? smile

How is everybody dealing with the double-faced tokens (not just in Commander 2016 but in the other products that have them)? You only have 10 physical cards, but get 20 tokens, effectively. So is it better to list just the 10 front faces in your inventory, or....?

To compound the issue, it would seem that a given front face doesn't always have the same backs.

...

I've wondered about this myself.  Right now my "workaround" is... I simply don't keep track of my tokens in Deckbox.  But I would prefer to be able to do so, and do so correctly.

This is awesome!  I knew I made the right choice when signing up (again) for a subscription here. smile

Excellent addition with the legality checks!  I recently was building a deck that had only one card that was illegal in Modern, but it took me forever to figure out which one.  This is really helpful!

This kind of thing would require a 'completed deck' feature, I think. Otherwise, it would find loads of incomplete decks and non-decks when comparing cards. I know I have more of the latter than the former, at least.

Yeah... the system does check whether a deck meets the minimum legality rules, but just because a deck labeled as Constructed has 60+ cards in it doesn't mean it's actually ready to be used.  That's a really good point.

I like it! smile  Sounds like it could be a bit complex to implement, but it would be a great tool for discovering decks on the site.  As it stands I hardly know where to begin when searching around!  I hope we get this or a similar feature added.

Add me to the list of people who think this is an excellent idea! smile

My Magic collection is ever-growing, though I know there are plenty of cards I already have that are very good, but whose value is not immediate obvious.  Sorting by price helps, but a low dollar value does not always mean a card is poor (for example, some of my absolute favorites are under 30 cents; e.g. Colossal Whale, Doorkeeper, Ghostly Flicker, etc.).

Being able to find a deck that uses only cards you own could help a lot in better appreciating those very cards.  I hope this gets implemented!
