I was looking at Conspiracies today, and noticed that they all appear to have improper Multiverse IDs, which means that their links to Gatherer don't actually go anywhere.

For example:
Sovereign's Realm
Secrets of Paradise

Hey all!

I managed to take down the Prerelease last night and pulled these out of my winnings.

Harsh Mentor (Foil)
Nissa, Steward of Elements

Let me know if you're interested, I can take a look at lists.

Hey everybody,

I have a bunch of standard stuff, but I don't really get to play Standard much at the moment, so I'm trying to trade it into various other staples.

Let me know if there is anything that you're interested in and I can take a look at your list!

Thanks

What do you value them at?

Bump.

Verdant Catacombs are gone, but the trade for the Marsh Flats fell through, so those are still available!
Feel free to open up a trade.

Thanks.

Hey all,

I have some ZEN Fetches sitting around that I'm not using:
0x Verdant Catacombs (Gone)
3x Marsh Flats

I also have a bunch of random things from BFZ, Origins, and other recent sets:
Nissa, Vastwood Seer
Kiora, Master of the Depths
Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh
Sunken Hollow
Canopy Vista
Smoldering Marsh
Lumbering Falls
Ruinous Path
and a ton of other random things.

I'm mainly starting my search for lands to complete playsets, focusing mostly on Shocks.  I'm always willing to dig through lists as well.

Thanks for taking a look!

Your title is confusing.  Is it a sealed Fatpack, or is it the sealed lands from in the Fatpack?

Somebody is throwing the price off of foil Kruphix.

Trade sent.

Not looking for anything in particular, just hoping to trade into some Legacy and/or Modern staples at around the same value.

If you're interested in the fetches, just let me know, I am willing to dig through tradelists and such.

Thanks!

I'd be willing to take them off your hands, if you see anything that you're interested in.

I'm attempting to put together a cube.  Aiming to start it as a Peasant and move forward from there.

I'm looking to get a bunch of random commons and uncommons that I don't happen to have already, all of which are on my Wishlist.
Hopefully I can get a lot of these in just a couple trades, and I'm definitely not opposed to including other things in the trade to make them more reasonable.

If you have a lot of the things I'm looking for then just start up a trade and let me know!

Thanks!

In some cases, I'm seeing some huge discrepancies between what the Trade Opportunities shows me and what I see when I got look at that person's profile.

For instance:

Just exported my Tradelist and the Count column is the number I have in my inventory.  I'd expected that to either be the number I have for trade or, at least, have a separate column with the number I have for trade.

I'm assuming this is a bug, so here I am.

Thanks!

I think a lot of times when people react strongly to Deckbox updates, it may not necessarily be the updates themselves but how they are introduced. For a tool that many people use everyday, big sudden changes will almost always be met with resistance.

I think this is definitely true, at least for myself.  It seems like the modus operandi here is generally to just drop bombs and they always seem to cause a big ruckus.  It would be nice to get some heads up, or even some say in the matter, rather than having this great tool change underneath us before we even know it is happening.

As others have said, the current price is FAR too steep; despite my reservations on the matter, even I'd probably be willing to drop $2/month or $20/year to help support things, and it seems like others would be too.  My guess would be that, if you dropped the price, you'd make up the difference in volume of subscriptions, and then some.

I do not understand what you mean. sad

If I can paraphrase, what I believe he meant is that there is always many ways to solve a problem, but not all of those ways may work for the users.  Since you, yourself, are only one user of the site, and probably not the best example of an average user, it may be difficult for you to surmise what the best option is for the community at large.  Being open about the problem, that you aren't making enough money to support the site and its development, and raising up the concern alongside a series of possible solutions, or even asking for ideas for solutions, would give people both more control over how they would be willing to support the site and a greater sense of community as they help to preserve it.

I totally understand, and am grateful for all of the work that I know you've put in.  At least for me, it's just a function of the fact that Magic is a very waxing and waning hobby that I already have a hard time justifying throwing money into, which is why I tend to do it in small amounts through trading.  It's difficult to then also dump another chunk of money that is roughly equal to the amount that I spend on trades/month, essentially doubling my costs.

Trust me, I'm a programmer; I get it.  I've hosted sites, and shut them down (though usually due to inactivity for various reasons). Heck, I even offered to help out ages ago but, at the time, you said that there wasn't a great way to share code and such.  I just look at the list of features that are being implemented, like the apps, and feel a little bit said because, while great additions, most of us are getting on fine without them.  So, I hope that additions like that aren't the driving force for requiring so much more development time and money.

Like I said, I totally understand and don't fault you, I'm just disappointed.

And in response to to your now edited post, the only reason that I wouldn't stick around is exactly what I stated already, that I've been waiting in hopes for several features and been procrastinating on implementing my own personal inventory system for ages that I'd both (hopefully) get enjoyment from creating and get to use for free.  I'd still be here for trading because there isn't a better site for it, but it is hard to not think about the other parts of the site as essentially non-changing because I'll have to assume that most other new features of importance will likely be premium ones, so any new ideas I come up with to advance the site are basically dead in the water, at least to myself.

Many of these features are exactly what we've been looking for on this site for ages, some of which, I believe, that I have requested myself.  I've thought several times about implementing my own solution simply because I really wanted some of these things.  Exciting that they're finally getting implemented!  At least until you see the price.  I understand the need/want to drive profits and the ability to develop more features moving forward, but that doesn't stop me from being disappointed that I'll likely never use them.

Deckbox has been great to me; I visit several times/day and have made hundreds of trades.  But, now that I know many of the features that have been promised to being worked on, and possibly any future requests that I make, are being put behind a pay wall, I'm not sure how long that will continue.

Trade started.

I noticed this a while ago but wasn't sure how to reproduce the issue because it's a bit odd.
The problem appears to be a difference between how the Trading Opportunities page handles the first landing there as opposed to subsequent searches.

For instance, if I want to search for people who want Containment Priest...
If I go to the Trading Opportunity page and specify that I'm willing to trade Containment Priest then I get 6 people who match this criteria.  Great.

Now, if I go to the Containment Priest card page and click on the link for "Find users who need this", I end up getting back 21 results.  Interesting.

Possibly even more interesting is the fact that, if I change nothing, clicking apply on that same page that just showed me 21 results will instead show me the original 6 that I saw during my earlier search.

I have a bunch of fetches:

2x Polluted Delta
2x Wooded Foothills
1x Windswept Heath
1x Bloodstained Mire

Don't really have anything that I'm specifically looking for right now.  Most of the stuff on my wishlist is just random EDH stuff and filler.
I'm just looking to possibly trade them up, so let me know if you're interested and I will take a look at your tradelist.

Thanks!

The feedback on the release where we introduced this was almost 100% negative. Now it seems when we undo it, it is negative again smile.

The loudest group isn't always the majority. wink  The rest of us just didn't have much to complain about.

Card Pages

In an earlier controversial release, we have changed the card pages to work as dialogs (except on small screens). This has been received not so well, and it is time now for us to admit that the idea has not worked. It was not intuitive nor too usable, and we can do better.

We have now re-structured the card pages to include most of the information that was before split into tabs, in what we think is a much better layout. Awaiting your feedback, as always.

Maybe I'm alone here, but I'm actually sad to see this go.  I agree that the tabs weren't ideal, but the ability to quickly search and then add something to my inventory/tradelist/wishlist right there, inline from any page was very useful, and I found myself using it all of the time.

Either way, I understand and definitely appreciate all of the improvements in general.  This site is amazing!
