If a user proposed a trade to me and I started editing it, then wanted to change my mind and revert it back to how he sent it, is there a way to do this without remembering exactly what was originally there?

No. Once you remove a card from a trade, the only way to get it back into the trade is to actually re add it. There is no "undo" button.
