Hi everyone building a blue red standard deck any thoughts or suggestions? (no jace's or fetch)

You can make a better deck than this but when it comes to bang for the buck this is about as fun as it gets. typically a turn 5. You could sub the abbots with jeskai elder? not sure 1/2 prowess for 1U when he damages may draw and discard one.

I mean if you're in the budget space, Zada makes more sense than Avaricious Dragon... pay one blue, make the whole team unblockable, draw numerous cards.

I would also suggest some number of Dragon Fodder.

Lastly, I know it's budget, but Abbot won't be a whole lot cheaper than it is now, so might as well pony up the roughly $20.

Good call! I made a nya ally deck a while back with zada and for some reason completely forgot about him.
