Player of the Year event 2016

Each year we celebrate the success of the top 16 local players. You qualify for this event by simply playing a lot. This event is free to attend and is strictly invitational based. Below you find the list of qualified players and the event structure.

Round 1-3 - Swiss - Budget Standard
- 2 Pods of 8
- Assigned to pod by ranking (even / uneven)
- Top 4 of each pod advances to Group A
- Last 4 of each pod advances to Group B

Round 4-6 - Swiss - Kaladesh Booster Draft
- 2 pods of 8
- Group A - Fight for Byes - top 4 gets Bye in the 1/8 Finals
- Group B - Play to Stay - Last 4 are Eliminated

Finals - Single Elimination -Standard
- Seatings assigned by ranking in Group play


Losers are Winners - Chaos draft (Repack)
- Last 4 of Group B
- Losers of 1/8 Finals
- 3 Rounds
- 2 or 3 wins = prizes!

No Semi Finals Commander - EDH
- Losers of the Quarter Finals
- 1 round
- Winner gets an extra Prize

- Weekly updated standings on the TGM MTG Facebook Group
- Special Invite: Calin (Player of the Year 2015)
- If a Qualified Player cancels, the next in line qualifies, so that we are exactly 16 players. (so 17th and 18th place actually have a chance)
- Score matchpoints on non-EDH FNM, Weekend events and the Kaladesh League
