Hotel Pivovar, prin booking.com. Când am făcut eu rezervarea raportul preț/calitate mi s-a părut excelent: are parcare privată (eu vin cu mașina și mă interesează acest aspect), are mic dejun inclus, camerele sunt bine aranjate și iese undeva la 25 Euro/persoană/noapte.

I registered with byes.
We could sit anywhere, even next to friends, without restrictions.
I had randoms around me though.
The person in front of me pulled his phone after opening all the packs, and a judge saw him reading a "strategy article", as he called it, and told him to stop.
At that moment, I thought bare words should not have been enough since it was already late to read this kind of articles.
Yes, the whole registration process opened up for sketchy movements.

this happened EXACTLY right next to me, at the 1-bye table, guy next to me was looking at the LSV limited review
no jugde was arranging seating, someone just pointed me at the general direction of the table i should be sitting

Cam asa a fost, dar numai acum, si din cauza relocarii meselor in urma incendiului. Nu stiu cat cheating a fost, nu am vazut, dar este posibil ca s-s întâmplat.

Am avut 2 byes, dar am primit un pool pre-înregistrat. După ce am primit pool-ul și am verificat să fie înregistrat bine am ridicat mâna și judge-ul a venit să marcheze timpul pentru deckbuilding.
Nu m-am uitat expres la ce fac alții dar nu am văzut probleme care să-mi atragă atenția. Opinion? Sure: glad the whole thing still took place after the fire. Cheating will ALWAYS happen in the 1st day.

Opponentul din runda 5 primul meu loss a avut 2 byeuri, opponentul din runda 7 un bye. In timpul GP-ului am remarcat ca au avut o tonna de removal si un pool extrem de bun, fucking hell.

Mi-am cerut banii inapoi. Nu-i fain deloc ce s-a intamplat.

The round that I was paired with a player that had a bye was the round that I lost. Coincidence? Maybe, but can you prove that he didn't cheat? Can you prove to me that no-one cheated? No, you cannot. I registered to the event with the belief that it will be a fair one, I no longer have the belief that it was. This event will from now on cast a shadow on all future limited events. Which makes me really sad because I like limited a lot more then constructed, but if I can't trust the organisers to enforce the tournament rules, then I will not go to any of their limited events.

Faptul că nimeni aici pe forum nu aprobă sau dezaprobă ceea ce zici aici este din cauză că argumentația ta este ușor absurdă. Teoriile conspirative sunt drăguțe, dar slăbuțe de obicei; aici e la fel: personal am avut 2 bye-uri, am avut achiziționat un pachet VIP (deci unul dintre avantaje a fost că am primit un pool care era deja pre-registered, ÎNSĂ a fost complet aleator, judge-ul din zona aceea avea cca. 12 cutii închise cu pool-uri pre-înregistrate și mi-a zis să aleg una dintre cutii) și am avut un pool foarte bun. Clar foarte bun. Dar a fost random. La deckbuilding am fost supravegheați de cca. 3 judges, deși eram doar 15-20 oameni în zona respectivă în acel moment. Am primit același timp pentru deckbuilding ca toată lumea și a fost chiar strict judge-ul de pe zonă în această privință. No issues here.

Nu am trișat. Am jucat ce am avut cum am putut mai bine. I can't prove that I didn't cheat just as much as one can't prove that he or she didn't keep bad hands "că poate merge”. Să acuzi organizatorii de conspirații și comploturi este complet în drepturile tale. Plauzibil? Da. Probabil? Da. Demonstrabil concret? Nu.

Întotdeauna se poate trișa la asemenea evenimente: de la sideboard, la cărți băgate din exterior (cine dintre noi, în TOATE rundele de 1st Day, comparativ cu TOATE GP-urile la care am fost, am primit vreun deck-check în primele 4 meciuri? Poate o dată în 18 runde unul? Cam așa?).

Sincer, este perfect firesc să existe mici probleme de organizare după toate cele întâmplate vineri. Unii vor exploata asta, și la fel faci și tu acum dacă îți ceri banii înapoi.

Rares, nu cred ca intelegi problema in sine, sau gravitatea problemei.

Can iti faci poolol de carti asa cum vrei, poti sa fii supraveghiat si de 10 oameni, ca totul o sa apara ok. Can oameni nu fac sideboard corect, sau aduc carti de afara, intotdeauna isi asuma un risk, ca primesc deck-check si pierd un joc. Dar cand iti scrii poolol asa cum vrei, acest risk e nu mai exista. Nu ai trisat, dar nici nu ai avut ocazia sa trisezi, ca cartile tale au fost deja registrate de altii. Sa zicem ca eu si Tamas, amandoi cu un bye, mergem impreuna sa la eveniment, primim 2 pachete random, si ne ducem undeva sa registram cartile. Nu e nimeni sa ne supraveghieze, vorbim in maghiara, sa nu ne inteleaga ceilalti jucatori de langa noi, el imi da ceva removal fain de pe rosu, ei ii dau ceva removal fain alb si negru. pur si simplu pun un tick pe foaie. si fiind generos, sciu acolo si masterpieceul pe care l-am adus sa fac trade. nu e in pool, dar o sa-l scot si-i dau cand nu vede nimeni. terminam cu registrarea, chemam un judge, ne supravegheaza cat facem deckbuildingul, and we don't even think of cheating all day. in fact we never did. we were just really really lucky with our pools.

Problema in sine e ca organizatorii au pierdut incredera ca a fost un event fair. Ca pot organiza un eveniment si sa asigure ca regurile sunt respectate. Pentru ca asta nu s-a intamplat la Praga. Regurile competitiei nu au fost la fel pentru fiecare participant.

Înțeleg ce spui. Personal nu am văzut astfel de cazuri, deși am fost în zona de 2 bye-uri. I get you, man, I get you. Chill.
