Maybe I'm not posting this in the right subject, but I'd like to know if there's a way to adjust the card's editions when buildind a deck. If not, why?
The same card but from another edition could make it legal or not. Furthermore, the card's value can change drastically from one edition to one other.

As long as the card is legal in the format it does not matter what edition you play as far as legality.
As far as prices go you should look at the site you are buying the card from the diffrent prices for each set
