So I've currently got a decent Elf deck, and a pretty good Goblin deck, but I'm looking to try out some stranger tribal decks.

Currently, I'm also building a Squirrel deck, because... why not? So here is my question to y'all - what's a good tribe to build around that is somewhat cheap but full of flavor. I don't care if the deck is all that powerful, this would be mainly for fun.

So other than Elves, Goblins, Zombies, Dragons, or Merfolk - what are the best/most fun/budget friendly tribal build I can get going?

I noticed that there are many elephants, viashino, birds...

I'll openly say that squirrel decks are a ton of fun to play; however, they're not very cheap to put together.

I think it'd be amusing to make a 3-5 color dragon deck. I vote you go that route. It's also among the cheapest options for getting into EDH, so most of the cards should be easy to come by.
