If you are compensated fairly for cards that did not arrive, you may not leave negative feedback.
If the carrier lost the cards, it really isn't the sender's fault, but per the terms of this site, each sender is responsible for the delivery of his or her cards. It sounds like the two of you have been in regular communication, and that there was no difficulty reaching an agreement on the payment--sounds like a good and honorable trading partner to me.
I have one trade still open that has my partner waiting for cards. I was shipping to California. The DCN let both of us see that it left the St. Paul regional post office on January 3, but then everything went silent. We agreed to wait until the 15th before I would reship or refund.
Just this morning, the status received an update: the package arrived at another regional post office--in Boston!
I have no idea why it ended up going east rather than west, but that's the USPS for you. I'm just glad it is back in the system and that it is (hopefully) back on its way to California.
