Topic: Condition Question, cards received from trade.

This is in no way blaming or attacking the person who sent this card, I'm just interested in the general consensus of what I should do. Made a trade for a NM/Mint Dragonlord Atarka, it just arrived, and it doesn't look minty to me. Here are some pictures of the card I received. The user I am trading with is being very mature and helpful, and has already immediately offered to reverse the trade. I have absolutely no issues with them, I just want to know if people consider this card to be played/damaged or if I should perhaps just live with the less than mint card. Thanks! http://imgur.com/sYhH6S0 http://imgur.com/SJIrLlm,G4Qpbfe,NydCrIL#0

Re: Condition Question, cards received from trade.

Is the only 'damage' the top scuffing, that little white bit near the top right?

I would say it is at worst LP+. I would probably have sold it as NM-.

For reference, this is the usual way people grade cards, or at least around this sort of thing:

Below the Power/Toughness is a little rip, the top scuffed area, and then the back.

Re: Condition Question, cards received from trade.

If you tried to buylist that, no way they are taking that as NM...

Re: Condition Question, cards received from trade.

He said that the front damage looks to be from shipping, but the back is def LP and he apologized for assuming it was NM.

Re: Condition Question, cards received from trade.

I'd consider this card LP.

Re: Condition Question, cards received from trade.

That's LP in my world.

Re: Condition Question, cards received from trade.

It is my opinion that the Dragonlord Atarka is SP/LP (same thing), a consensus it seems.
