I know this is a reach, but here goes. I bought a collection, and now I'm a bit overwhelmed because I have way too many cards overall to deal with. I know it'd be hard to sell/trade off more than a few of these individually, so I'd like to just make a trade/sell the whole thing rather than pick it apart.

Note that most of the low value cards are in Revised. I'll also take multiples of Revised Dual Lands even though I only have one of each of most of them on there.


I'm not looking to get $950 out of this, obviously, and I'll take less in cash than I would in trade value.

I've got Isochron, one or more revised goblin kings, and a few other items on your wishlist. Let me know what you'd like fora Sensei top, and I can check which are revised. I know I have a 4th edition dingus egg, but not revised.

I have just about every card on that list but I can't part with my dual lands and without them there isn't enough value on your wishlist to equal up to the value of the list in this post.

Essentially, what you're saying is that you want duals or no trade. I don't think your going to get many takers on that :/

Actually, it's not quite what I'm saying, but I guess it isn't that far removed from the truth. Cash is obviously king, and I'd probably take $600 cash for the whole thing, and I'd include about 50 full art lands in that since I found those in the lands I got when looking through the collection. I essentially just want to avoid breaking this up and selling on eBay, though I can go that route as well. I'd also be happy to take a combination of cash and cards - though obviously I won't value the cards quite as high as the cash. So for example, if you had a Tundra, a Taiga, and a Badlands in nice condition, I'd take something like $400 + those three for the whole thing.

So... I know this might be a stretch, and if it doesn't work out, it doesn't. Essentially I did spend a fair amount of cash on this collection, and I just want to make sure I get value back so I can justify the spending to the wife (I'm sure some of you know how it is ;) ). By the way, if anybody's interested in a TON of commons, let me know. Most of it is the Kamigawa and Mirrodin blocks.



I've received a couple of cash offers that weren't bad, but I could still outdo them myself from selling elsewhere. So if I don't get anything close to what I'm looking for soon, I'm going to start looking at people's smaller offers, because there are a lot. Ultimately I do realize that a vast majority of Magic players don't have a ton of money, and I do want people to be able to build better decks. I know what it was like for me when I started back in '94 :P However, I'm obviously still looking to get value back, so I might go for fairly high value cards when I trade, and also do slightly higher value totals just to not spend too much on shipping. (So for example, I'd trade 2 Grave Titans + 2 Hero of Oxid Ridge for a Snapcaste - maybe a dumb scenario, but you get the gist).


Anyway, please keep letting me know what you're interested in and what you're willing to trade, even if you can't do the whole thing. I really do appreciate just the ability to post it here rather than do the "gamble" that is eBay. Not to mention, I do prefer the cards go to players rather than collectors (though not sure collectors really go after newer stuff).

Are the boxes still sealed in plastic as well? While I'm not interested right NOW, I definitely might be in the future, depending on pricing. My friends and I talked about doing a Revised Booster Draft next time I go back to Sweden to visit.

I'll have to ask but I believe so.
