Topic: Boros Creature Hate

I've designed a deck based around global damage effects like Pyroclasm and Slagstorm.

The idea is focused around effects like Repercussion.

It uses monsters that are safe from the global damage either due to Protection from Red or damage prevention.

Let me know what you guys think or if you have any suggestions to make it better.

I don't like the Swans of Bryn Argoll in this deck.  Unless you plan to do enough damage to it to mill your opponent, you're doing nothing but give your opponent card advantage, which is never a good idea.  Opal Guardian or Silver Knight may be better choices, and both have the added benefit of improving the deck's mana curve.  Otherwise, it seems like a solid build, although testing would be the only real way to know for sure.

Swans of Bryn Argoll doesn't only make my opponent draw. Every time I hit it with Slagstorm or the like I am the one drawing cards. See where it says "the source's controller" smile In other words, I am pretty much the only one gaining benefit from it. Not to mention it has flying and 4 power. Also because it prevents the damage dealt to it, I don't take any whiplash from Repercussion.

Needs either Idyllic Tutor or Enlightened Tutor since Repercussion is kinda the key part of the deck, also I love bonfires but I don't see them as nessicary, most often you'll probably be just as well off just using another general board wipe, I also don't know If I like Chandra, she's too specific and her ultimate is kinda anticlimatic, the only thing I can see her dooing is copying a good spell you like alot

I decided I needed more ways to beat creature "light" decks and creature-less decks. That's why I included the bonfires and chandra. I'm thought about coming up with a sideboard for that, although I don't play competitive so I usually don't build one. I guess I can see taking Chandra back out again. Perhaps Shrine of Burning Rage would be better than chandra for this deck?

-2 Chandra, the Firebrand
-1 Mogg Infestation
-1 Plains
+2 Shrine of Burning Rage
+2 Enlightened Tutor
