The only reason there is an iApp is because a member/hobbiest made one of his own volition. I believe it safe to say that the only way we are likely to see an Android (or WinPhone) app is if a similarly interested hobby programmer picks up the banner...
We would really like to have an API to help people build apps, but we've got some other things that need to be finished first.
Can't promise anything before spring 2013.
Any updates on this matter?
Still no plan :-/
The API is still in our plans, and high priority at that. We know many people want it.
Sadly we did not yet have enough resources to devote to it. Bear with us another couple of months, we're getting there
Since this Post got bumped - I am currently developing an Androidapp.
Current Features are:
Card Search
User Search
Users Sets
Users Friends
Users Tradelist,Whishlist & Inventory
SetView
Spoiler View of Set
Due to the fact, that I am not developing the API on my own (thanks to ToraTora at this point - I hope he is keeping his good work up! ) as well thats just a freetime project (besides of a 40 hour workweek and one day in university, and friends, and girlfriend, and sports and parties...) and I am totally new to Androiddeveloping I cannot estimate a releasedate.
I think it'll be about a month from now. late march/early april till I am able to release an app which I am satisfied with.
Currently everything works like a charm if you know how - so I really need to write a lot of code handling exceptions.
Another fact ist, that I need to implement Features like storing loaded Users/Cards/Sets to internal and external store, enable download Images only via WiFi etc.
Without those, I wouldn't want to release this app. Those last two Points freezes my mind, due to the fact that I have to read a LOT of HowTos and Tutorials before I am able to implement it properly...
I'll keep you up2date
So since no one is contributing in this topic, I don't think anyone will even relate to this, but:
I need to delay the release of the App, due to the fact that I have lot of work to do @work and cannot develop that much in my spare time.
But I already included saving the Card as well as its Images in internal Space.
All those error till now are gone, so I am looking forward in a brief 1.0 Version of the App very soon.
But then again, DIII will be released next week.
I schedule the first Relase now @mid April.
For anyone interested, I am still searching for Betausers (req. droid Version 4 point O or higher.)
Pm me
Any news on this? Still need testers? I'm on a Galaxy s4
I'd be so interested in this! I'd use it all the time.
Since everthing calmed about an API I choosed just to publish the App to my friends.
That's said, there are a lot of Bugs around which you need to know as well as a lack of performance.
It just doesn't make a point to put further time into it, with such an unstable situation targeting deckbox and there evaluation for a release of the API.
sorry guys
