    I actually did a little brewing, tweaking, testing. Found a fun build, BUT...


    ...I realized, the actual problem with Tez in modern is that you don't actually WANT to draw any of the artifacts. Spellskites are okay and the list trails off fast after that. I guess if you're on Sword/Thopter/Bridge you're getting somewhere, but that deck doesn't want any of the other artifacts really.

    Where's the payoff? Metamorph? Ravager? Lodestone?

      Which is why i originally had a Spoils of the Vault in there.  Just to mkae sure you drew a Tezzeret at some point.  I mean, it's almost like the older Scapeshift brews - you *have* to play a Tezzeret (and ultimate) in order to win.

    this looks much better. id still cut the worthless relics and baubles - i assume these are here primarily for metalcraft? - for something that does something.


    nihil spellbomb is an option vs relic, if you want oe-sided GY hate

      yeah, pretty much just for metalcraft.  Darksteel Relic makes a good target to turn into a 5/5 via Tezz or Ensoul, but is worthless otherwise.

        Def. cut Relic then. path and dismember and cryptic (in two ways!) ...it's not actually THAT durable. 5 toughness is *almost* as good as indestructible (snap-bolt-block seems like the chief way to deal 5) and "doing literally anything" is vastly superior to relic

          Spellskite seems good again too.  just to stay alive against fast decks. ?
