    can't decide whether the bob/packrat or kiln/delver package is better.  we've been testing them both.  the opening hands can be amazing when using all 20 pacts, as you simply mulligan until you get a nivmagus.

      If you exile the Pacts, you don't have to pay the upkeep cost, right? Is that the trick here?

        yeah...  and they still trigger Kiln Fiend even if you exile them after you cast them.

        we debated assault strobe, but yeah the trample is pretty key in most instances and the extra mana was rarely relevant.
