Notes

2017-09-23 - Astral Games Sealed Prerelease
2-2-0 Record - 14th out of 29

2-1 vs weak UR pirate/raid aggro, strong opponent (finished 26th)
0-2 vs strong RG dino midrange, strong opponent (finished 4th)
2-0 vs weak WBRG dino beatdown, strong opponent (dropped w/ a 1-2 record)
1-0-1 vs strong Abzan vampire weenie/midrange, strong opponent (finished 8th)

Huge dino beatdown. Mana curve started at 4cmc. Not a strong deck, but several standouts gave it an edge.

Often mana flooded. No good mana sinks. No fixing, so I'd stall out on a missing color sometimes.

Almost every matchup inclided dinos, so my non-dino boardwipe was less effective than I would have hoped. Only got it out once anyway.

Regisaur Alpha was a huge threat and opponents hated to see it. Reality was that it delivered some very efficient creatures, but was rarely enough to pull me out of a hole. Saw one almost every game.

Removal was pretty weak, but I closed out two games with Unfriendly Fire.

Thaumatic Compass was excellent mana fixing for limited. The Maze of Ith ability was relevant, but not sure how much it actually mattered.

Territorial Hammerskull was fantastic.

Snapping Sailback failed to deliver any value. It only ambushed an attacker once. Saw it do some work for another player, so it was probably just bad luck.

Hard-cast Ancient Brontodon twice. It connected with an opponent once.
