Notes

Ever since I first got into Pauper I've wanted to craft a mill deck that didn't entirely suck. It wasn't until the inclusion of both Jace's Erasure and Curse of the Bloody Tome (both of relatively recent sets) that this deck was able to come to fruition.

I've tried using cards such as Tome Scour and Memory Sluice, but what I found was that the best type of mill is the recurring kind. If you can build your deck around the dual engines of the Erasure/Bloody Tome you can make the deck less about speed and more about control/locking down your opponent.

A key thing to remember about this deck is that your life is meaningless until it hits 1. Until then, feel free to let your opponents attack, saving your Fogs until absolutely necessary. Also, the Counterspells will generally go unused in this deck, but are mainly there as a 'just in case'.

This deck usually goldfishes on turn 9 or 10, but don't be alarmed by this. If you make the right plays and conserve your spells, you can make a soft-lock by turn 3 and then continue to put on the pressure from there.
