side: 3 aerial predation, sundering growth, archweaver (should have mained?)

m1 WW RB (rakdos pack) deck with chaos imps (never cast), splatter thug, hellsteed, ? - a new player, didn't always attack/block properly and I didn't see his best

both games pretty easy victories

m2 WLL vs GRB (golgari pack?) with cackler, traitorous instinct, deathrite shaman, korozda guildmage, gore-house?, ultimate price, underworld connections, goblin rally, slum reaper, rogue's passage

G1 I won pretty easily after getting a elemental token out
G2 I was put on the defensive pretty early and could never catch up, he broke a minor stalemate using the 4/2 and rogue's passage (at 1 I couldn't do more than get him down to 2 life)
G3 was pretty intense - I fell back to 11, then right after I got out my elemental token (along with a DB goliath) it was traitored away, attacking along with a few others. I ALMOST scooped but was sort of convinced not to by him. Dropping to 1, I proceeded to topdeck trostani's judgment, and got him from 20 to 2 in 3 turns before he topdecked the 6th land he needed to cast explosive impact on me.


m3 WLL vs RB (rakdos?) with hellhole flailer, ogre jailbreaker, splatter thug, gore-house, rix maadi guildmage, zanikev locust

his deck didn't seem super strong, but was good enough to kill me (plus I had some mana problems)

m4 W-D-time vs WU (azorius pack) with archon, martial law, other detains, bazaar krovod, detention sphere, new prahv guildmage, soul tithe, avenging arrow, paralyzing grasp, voidwielder

G1 - wow, a long one (went from 0:45 til 0:12? or longer) I was in trouble at first (dropped to 10 from a 2/x flyer?) but stabilized. eventually we had a stalemate where I was populating a 1/1 bird every turn, while he was detaining 3 creatures a turn with martial law+archon and both of us had a full board of 5+ creatures. however, I soon got an elemental token and with growing ranks he couldn't deal with it once I got three of them.
G2 - got a elemental token bounced by voidwielder, and didn't have much else I could threaten him with after that. still got him to 5 before time ran out.

Deck VIPs: deadbridge goliath?, rubbleback rhino (the hexproof was key in match 4 vs detain), grove of the guardian, stab wound, growing ranks, trostani's judgment
Disappointments: phantom general (never drawn), korozda guildmage (not good in a splashed colour), selesnya charm (found myself having to use it for a creature most games due to my deck's count), azorius arrester (found myself holding an extra turn or two most times waiting to use effect), ethereal armor, grove of the guardian vs bounce
memorable plays: Match 2 game 3 when I almost scooped then almost won (lesson: NEVER GIVE UP TOO EARLY), and Match 4 game 1.
