Notes

well this deck is a test for necrotic ooze in a combo-type dredge deck.  we traded out the bridge from below route to allow us to utilize ooze combo in its place to win faster and its much harder to stop.  well you may ask its bridge combo atleast faster and more consistant, we took that in both a yes and no,  yes as it allows for steady pressure against non-exiling removal and combat and no in that once they have a guy die your bridges are all gone. also ooze doesnt rolll over to EE set at 0.  ooze really only loses to a few things, leyline of the void, trickbind, leyline of sanctity, true believer, angels grace, sudden spoilings, sudden death.  but only a few of those see even remote play.

after testing a few time with this build i think i needs tweeking but is already a solid house with its reccurring mana-denail package, optional iona, and instant speed nearly unstoppable combo.

some match ups:

merfolk (mono U)
this matchup can be tough depending on the build ( if they run daze and FOW).  simply you have to make a tough choice, do you wade slowly into the folk and trade jabs for body blows (aka you swing with bloodghasts while they swing with lords)  or do you try to go faster and risk catching a FOW/daze.  i recommend the ladder as it is easy to bait a FOW/daze with careful study or breakthrough.

outcome: evenly matched

goblins (mono R)
this shouldnt pose too much of an issue game 1.  game too just watch for thier 3-5 piecess of graveyard hate and you should be the victor in this matchup.

outcome: in your favor

LANDSTILL (u/g/b)

this is by far one of the 2-3 bad matchups, getting forbid locked out hurts.  if you can get life from the loam and a few wastelands out you might be able to slow their board down.  but in this matchup trying to keep that up while applying pressure can be hard, even postboard your matchup doesnt get better as now they have gravehate for you.

outcome: almost unwinnable

dreadstill/stiflenaught  (u/x)

this is the other hard to beat deck believe it or not, why you ask?  TRICKBIND stops ooze dead in his tracks.  this deck will have you side out ooze combo for terastadon and hate for artifacts since they will try to beat face with a 12/12.

outcome: not good, postboard even to winnable

TES

this is an odd fight cause both players dont care what the other is doing and trying to win.  therapy is your godsend to beat them, over extend into them, sine they dont run counters or much disruption that is going to hurt you too much.  games 2/3 you really dont have to board against them but leyline throws a wrench at them.

outcome: evenly matched

CONCLUSION:

this deck has ups and downs.  id say play it on MWS before investing into this budget legacy deck.
