Notes

Testing out a variant on the Rakdos Aggro archtype that splashes green for Rancor and Dreg Mengler.

The idea is to see if Rancor and some additional haste can allow the deck to speed up the damage delivered without having more than two threats on my side of the board.

I dropped Thundermaw Hellkite to reduce the top of the curve, also dropped the combined Hellrider/Arstocrat count to 6 - here it is: 1X16, 2X8, 3x6, 4x6.  This also helps fix the mana, as there should be less things I cannot cast by turn 3-4 in my early hands.  A little worried about how color will flow, but cannot imagine a lot of stalled hands.

Against the right decks, you fully play out and Rancor helps you push across a lot of early damage.  Against sweeps, you drop two different threats but Rancor still lets you deliver big chunks each turn.

Rancor continues to upgrade each threat while you do not run out of threats in your hand.  Haste creatures combined with Rancor to deliver strong single punches after sorcery speed removal is pretty good and you laugh at Spirit tokens or chumping Snapcasters.

Working on the board...
