Notes

made for Ryan Elementary Magic Club Pauper box

Mono-B midrange control. With this deck you're aiming to disrupt your opponent's hand with Chittering Rats and Wrench Mind, and then clear their board with removal spells, and THEN resolve bigger threats like Gurmag Angler or gaining the Monarchy with Thorn of the Black Rose. Additional card advantage comes from Sign in Blood and the Monarchy if you can resolve/keep it.

I swapped out gangrenous zombies and snow swamps ($$!!) for Crypt Rats (or perhaps Evincar's Justice)
