Notes

This is one of the first decks I ever designed, way back when someone showed me Magic Workstation and explained the game to me.

Several years later I actually purchased the set of cards I needed online -- with heavy changes as it turns out some of those cards were worth a fortune individually.  Dual lands were replaced with Prismatic Omens and Joiner Adept, and as such it has a high Forest count to make sure these get out, as well as 4 Darksteel Ingots for permanent prismatic mana and a bit of a mana rush if you can get a few in hand.

The deck functions in several ways; it attempts to get out Stuffy Doll and put Pariah on it -- thus halting the opponent from dealing any damage save to themselves.  The doll itself is easily defeated by a -1/-1 counter, wither, return to hand, remove from game, etc... However I find this is often not planned for in most decks, which causes them to stall.

The enchantment is often targetted.  The deck seeks to gather Sterling Groves so as to prevent enchantment sniping and also search out other useful enchantments.  Sneak Attack is a backbone enchantment of this deck -- the original contained 3, but my revision contained only 1 (the pricetag influenced this).  Sterling Grove and Enlightened Tutor helps get this out when you're sure you need it.

The deck, once it has prismatic land and sneak attack, must gather the creatures Mystic Snake, Wizard Mentor, and Eternal Witness.  With Sneak Attack, each of these can be cast in haste for 1 red mana each.  That means counter spells for 1 mana, infinite "return card in graveyard to hand" for 1 red mana, and for a second red mana the ability to immediately return the cards to hand.  People tend to look lost and confused when this starts happening.

The game tends to drag on for awhile, as the point of this deck is to simply dominate the play with weird tricks. The stuffy doll itself can deal 1 damage to the player, but one can also use Slice and Dice in the current build to hit everything on the board. With Blood of the Martyr, one can hit an army and then turn it into a power hit on the player -- against a token deck I dealt 104 damage to the player recently.

To rush creature and enchantment gathering, there are several tutors.  Sterling Grove also acts as a tutor.  If you can get the Concentrate card, you can use your rounds burning through your library to find what you're looking for -- and using Eternal Witness to fish things out of the graveyard at will.  Gaea's Blessing can be used to draw a card, put cards back into your library, and most importantly prevents an opponent from milling you to death prematurely.

Odd enchants like Ophidian Eye and Freed From the Real exist to give the stuffy doll card draws and killing power -- you can burn through your mana just having it tap for 1 damage repeatedly.

I rather enjoy this deck, though it makes for long games (assuming you can get Stuffy Doll out and pariah on it before an opponent's deck ROFL-stomps you).
