(2/18/24) Gamer's Gauntlet Monthly Legacy - 3rd Place ($40 store credit)

Tied for points with 2nd place (Goblin stompy - a guy named Brian), but his win % was better than mine.
1st place was Jason Morency with Goblin Stompy too

Round 1: 2-1 win over UB Death's Shadow vs Jason Rosenkranz
Wasteland & Carpet of Flowers were really good here

Round 2: 2-1 win over Tin Fins/Reanimator - a guy named Ryan
He won on turn 1 after I countered an Entomb, he had a follow up Entomb and then Animate Dead > Griselbrand > Children of Korlis > Tendrils of Agony
Won the next two games by denying mana in Game 2, and then countering all actionable spells in Game 3 and resolving a Nihil Spellbomb

Round 3: 1-2 loss against Leyline of The Guildpact/Beanstalk 5color deck (Nick Sanchez)
Won Game 1 with bowmasters and murktide
Game 2 he has a Turn 0 Leyline, followed by a Rest in Peace, then a Scion of Draco and a Territorial Kavu -- he also had 2 Beanstalks in play. I lost quickly after he answered my bowmasters and my leovold with Leyline Bindings
Game 3- he has a turn 0 leyline, then plays a Rest in Peace, I played Force of Vigor and knocked both out. It was a grindy game, but he ends up resolving a hardcast leyline, and then 2 scions and I lost.

Round 4: 2-0 against Naya Zoo played by Colin Wu
I won Game 1 with the standard game plan, and then boarded in a bunch of Hydroblast effects for Game 2 and just countered everything I could. Won with a Murktide Regent
