Prioritize hitting land drops over deploying threats early

Mulligan Guidelines

Keep hands with 3+ lands or 2 lands + ramp

One-land hands are almost always a mulligan

Hands with ramp but no blue sources are risky

Play Patterns

Sequence ramp before playing Tatyova when possible

Hold lands in hand if Tatyova is about to enter

Use bounce and counters defensively to protect Tatyova

Strengths

Extremely consistent

Hard to run out of cards

Strong in longer, grindy games

Forgiving for mistakes

Slower starts

Relies heavily on commander

Vulnerable to repeated commander removal

Limited instant-speed answers to wide boards

Large flying threats

Repeated value from landfall
