So this deck is all about combos to make the merfolks tap and untap. A lot.
The biggest combo is Stonybrook Schoolmaster plus Freed from the Real plus Paradise Mantle for infinite 1/1s.
Another utility combo is the Puresight Merrow with Paradise Mantle equipped which makes it possible to tap and untap him infinitely to either search the deck for something or gain infinite life if Judge of Currents is out.
