Notes

The key here is developments in your Kingdom & Battlefield. City gates is going to get you a development in one of your zones at the beginning of every turn. Shrine to Tall will add major power to one of your units if you place it in a zone with developments.

Armoury and Contested Stronghold will gain you more resources in a well developed Kingdom.

You also have the great Wood-elf-development combo of shadow sentinel and Wild Rider that you know about.

Also, Priest of Verena will let you move developments so you can take advantage of those Wild Riders in multiple zones.

Bad thing with Empire is they're not heavy hitters, but you can use Johannes Brohiem and the 3 Pistoleirs to trigger the Greatsword's effect. Also, I have given you some great attachments (and the Wild Riders) to increase your power.
