Notes

I realized the other day that I no longer needed to incorporate White into my classic Stasis build, because Planar Chaos brought about a reprint of Kismet that had been shifted into Blue.

Although traditional Turbo Stasis decks should be built as even U/W splits, my build evolved into a sort of U/W/b/g hodgepodge as I tended to splash for Demonic Tutor and Fastbond.  Being able to remove one of the colors involved opens the door for better focus.  While it's technically just as burdensome to supplement Blue with Black instead of with White, since I was already splashing Black all I need to do is up the number of U/B lands and incorporate some decent removal to accommodate for the loss of Wrath of God.  What's that, you say?  Planar Chaos ALSO brought about a Black Wrath of God?  My...that's handy!

Also, Jace.

EDIT 5/7/11: The real loss with ditching White isn't Kismet or Wrath, it's Enlightened Tutor.  In a deck that ran a combo lock incorporating both artifacts and enchantments, E. Tutor did double-duty.  Even as a 1-of, I couldn't begin to count the number of times that card dragged my ass out of the fire.

Also, I'm really concerned about the Darkslick Shores here.  Early game, they're good, but late game they're a dead card.  Your land drop each turn will most likely be used to pay for Stasis on the following turn, so a land that comes into play tapped in the late game is a real liability.  Think I'll up the Islands and toss these.

Finally, I dropped one Boomerang for another Into the Roil.  Into the Roil is a superior card in this deck.  While it's not strictly better than Boomerang, there's seldom a need to bounce a land.  Yes, you can push your opponent further into the lock by returning an untapped land to their hand and forcing them to replay it under Frozen Aether, but that's a chump play, and your bounce spell is better used to return your Stasis so that you can keep the lock alive.

EDIT 9/13/17:
Gush really belongs in this deck. I should find a way to include a couple of them.
