Brief notes, more to come (hopefully).

This doesn't play stompy like the color pair would suggest. It's more along the lines of ramp + burn, after all, you are running 58 Lightning Bolts. A commander-damage strategy will work in a pinch, however, as Borborygmos has the magical 7 power.

Politics are important. Don't play down the fact that your general costs a whopping 8 mana and that he's only a creature and creatures are easy to answer. The deck sacrifices answers for redundancy so there are times when you really have to play the players at the table in addition to the cards.

Obvious Omissions:

Crucible of Worlds, Exploration: Budget and availability.  Crucible tends to put a giant target on your forehead (or at least that's how I justify its low position on my 'To Buy' list)

Avenger of Zendikar: Should probably be in here, in all honesty. Will likely add once track down my copy.

Boundless Realms: The battlefield is the place where it's hardest to put your lands fully to work.  Keeping them in your library ensures hits with Keen Sense/Snake Umbra.

Combo/Synergy

Abundance + Keen Sense/Snake Umbra: Fairly self explanatory win-con.

Abundance + Sylvan Library: "Draw" 3 each turn. Abundance lets you substitute each draw from Sylvan Library with the name and reveal action. Since you're not drawing, you lose no life.

Realms Uncharted package: Thespian's Stage + Dark Depths; Kessig Wolf Run + Inkmoth Nexus. The main alternate win conditions. The lands left "uncharted" can be recurred fairly easily.

Life from the Loam engine: Life from the Loam + a cycling land.  Cycle land, recur with LftL, cycle again, dredge, repeat for never ending burn.
