This deck is pretty cut and dry Esper Gifts Control.  As expected, the deck is pretty stable and can resist most of the format meta well, being able to disrupt Pod decks early, drop Norn against Affinity and fast Aggro, ect.  The deck does have some problems against Affinity pre-sideboard, but post-sideboard, mulligan smart and game two should be more in Gifts favor.  I haven't played too many Death and Taxes decks but I would assume that those decks would just ruin this deck.  I'd probably focus as much as possible on thinning out DnT hands out and prevent an Aether Vial from hitting the table and countering Thalia whenever possible.  UWR is a little bit of a problem as their deck tech includes Cliques, Aven Mindscensors, with counter back up but I would say the matchup is pretty even and depends on opening hands.  Without saying too much, this deck ruins mono-colored decks.

For anyone curious on why this deck works, you cast Gifts Ungiven at the end of your opponent's end step, provided you didn't have to counter anything and especially if they tapped out.  The card requires you to choose two cards with different names that  your opponent will make you discard, and it says up to four cards, so quite often, I go for the fatty I need to win the game and Unburial rites, reanimate and then hope I choose right.  Of course Gifts can also find something like Wrath, Damnation, Verdict and Snap to deal with the immediate threat.
