Format here was: Decks must contain only commons/uncommons from M14, Theros Block, or M15. Our casual group had started with sealed in M14, so it was intended to be a format tailored to the cards we were likely to have or could obtain cheaply, without it turning into 'the guy willing to drop a hundred bucks on rares wins'.


Had a last-minute addition of 2x Kragma Warcaller and 2x Ragemonger just before we started. (Thanks, @psycho_inc!)

I'd bumped out four cards from my original sideboard with the intent of moving four cards that had been in my main deck to the sideboard, but evidently I had completely failed to do so and ended up running a 64-card deck with an 11-card sideboard. Whoops!


Aside from that: if I could get through a couple turns and get 1x Mountain, 1x Swamp, and 1x either, then usually I could get some momentum going. However, I found that I got starved on the Mountain a lot-- I need to either rebalance the mana or maybe consider more Evolving Wilds to find it.
