Wow, this actually was updated so long ago it needs to be updated again.

At the time, STitan was bad as a meta choice. Now I feel BSC is. Combo shops has to rotate fatties as meta choices.

I should update by posting my other 2 Shops variants as well, but TBH the vintage scene here is dead. I haven't played in months, and I sold my Shops a while back. Now I just goldfish for fun once in a while and offer Shops theory and suggestions to ATXers.

Looks like you've updated this. No Sundering Titan?

To be fair, he flips to 4 Slash Panther if I expect a really control-dense meta. But a lot of people are on the BUG bears plan it seems (probably due to budget?) where Chalice on 1 and an answer to Trygon are all you need. Not like Oath/Control, where Chalice on 2 is the jam and you really just want to draw every Lodestone and Thorn as fast as possible.

Well, this is my idealized build. For now, at sanctioned tourneys, I still have to play Monolith. But at least there's sanctioned tourneys here. Moltensteel fixes the Trygon Predator problem, and also comes down fast enough to beat the f**k out of Vendilion Clique. Also, dropping on turn 1 or 2, there are plenty of post-board games where the opponent simply can't find an answer before you phyrexian fire-breath them out of the game.

I see you've seen the light and added Moxen. Why so many Moltensteels in the board?
