The 93/94 set is pretty small, so a lot of the decks fit into one of the classic archetypes and thus have a lot of similar cards. Lately I've been trying to design 93/94 decks that are also Legacy and/or Modern legal. It's fun being able to play old cards against new decks, but it's quite challenging since few cards satisfy that overlap. For modern: http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Search/Default.aspx?page=0&action=advanced&set=%7C%5B%22Arabian%20Nights%22%5D%7C%5B%22The%20Dark%22%5D%7C%5B%22Legends%22%5D%7C%5B%22Antiquities%22%5D%7C%5B%22Unlimited%20Edition%22%5D&format=+%5B%22Modern%22%5D

Yeah, I tried that too.  I have a small folder of 93/94 modern deck ideas.  None of them are really great, but some of them sort of work.

Neat, I checked them out. One problematic card in those decks is Unsummon. Nowadays, played creatures always come with powerful triggers - triggers that can be used again if the creature is bounced. Second, I always find myself thrown off balance by the tight mana curve of today's decks, so I think something like Llanowar Elves, BoP, Fellwar Stone, are very helpful cards.

Yeah, Birds of Paradise and City of Brass are the best fixing options available.  I need to pick up some 93/94 legal copies of both at some point.  You're absolutely right about unsummon.  The power of ETB of creatures today is pretty intense.  I really like the screwed up text of Alpha Unsummon though... so it's real hard not to play it.

Ha, yes, it's a fun typo. Though when it comes to Alpha and Beta cards, I have a real soft spot for the large font cards (compare Alpha vs Beta Twiddle, for exampe). Speaking of Twiddle, I love the old classic staples, and I sometimes try to design decks around them. The best example is probably Stasis, which is such a fun yet hard card to play, but there are others as well, like Underworld Dreams. I actually think that card would play well against modern decks that count so much on aggressive card drawing.

Wow, this looks real familiar.  :D

I can almost build your version.  I'm short 1 Braingeyser, 1 Brass man and 1 Copy artifact.
