Let me get a few things straight, right off the bat.

If you are wanting a few higher-worth cards of mine, and are offering a plethora of lower-worth cards, don't expect me to be so quick on accepting it if the trade is even on both sides. Uptrading/premiums is/are mandatory in these situations.

I DO NOT LIKE TRADING MY LANDS.
I will trade them IF AND ONLY IF  I am getting lands in return (ie shocks for shocks).

Trading out of formats is also another situation where uptrading/premiums will occur.
