Notes
This deck is one of my stronger decks. It's built around the mighty meekstone. The goal of the deck is to control the board with sweepers for the fast decks and then get out a couple of creatures with vigilance to get a nice board position. From this spot the deck wins through one of its large angelic beatsticks or through resolving a planeswalker's ultimate. This latter one is easier to achieve because you're controlling the field pretty well with this set-up.
To become the dominant deck on the table it uses the meekstone and the way inferior marble titan to deny other people the use of their huge monsters. I get past this weakness with my vigilance and untapping ability. Because this is the core of my deck, I have 3 ways to fetch the meekstone in the deck and to accompany it, there is a toolbox of 0-1 cmc artifacts present.
As for weaknesses, this deck folds to a multitude of control magics and basically the very disruptive decks. It does not take lightly to mana denial.
Ah yes, the general is one out of necessity. There aren't other generals in these colors that would make due. Fortunately, there are plenty of cards in the deck that I wouldn't mind donating like the meekstone itself for instance or one of the different oblivion rings variants.
