I don't think I've gotten any wins with it, but I've played it a few times. Very explosive. The very first game I played it, I curved into T1 Landing, T2 Bartolome, T3 Clavileno. Bart is just another engine for Clav, Carmen, new Vito, etc, but haven't had any problems with him underperforming. I cut OG Vona because every time I got him, I was getting focused down.
That's a hell of a ramp - Village rites is the heavy hitter in my variant, and though I need to add a few more creatures, it's won 2 of the 4 games I've played it in.Vona got pulled for the same reason - auto target, and while it's good to have a distraction, I couldn't get enough use out of her.
My Mycotyrant deck is a freight train - I haven't lost a single game I play it in, and actually had to question if it was too OP for my playgroup. But I have a lot of fun playing it (especially against other graveyard decks). Sorry to hear yours didn't work out!
I think my Mycotyrant was TOO focused on token production, not focused enough on win cons. It won a 1v1 game vs a pretty good Urza deck(good Urza), but we were both bored to death and tore our decks apart after that game, lol.
That's fair, lol. And in the end, if you're not having fun, it doesn't matter how good the deck is. I split mine evenly between descend and fungus creation, and it either just works or I've been hella lucky. Ah, well - on to the next deck! X-D
Have you had the chance to play this out? Bartolome didn't really pull his wieght in my build, so I took him out, but otherwise, it's a powerhouse

Definitely some of the most fun I've had with a Kindred deck in a while. I ripped apart Mycotyrant after about 4 days because it bored me to death.

Thankfully, as of right now, I don't think I have any more decks planned until the Fallout stuff comes out.
