Notes

With the "Death's Minions" deck, you'll control a legion of undead and unnatural horrors. This tireless army will spell doom for your rivals!

The "Death's Minions" deck seeks its eventual victory with an undead army, so you should try to make the game last longer while your spells gain in power. Use Mind Rot to make your opponent discard cards from his or her hand. Doom Blade, Assassinate and Tendrils of Corruption eliminate threatening creatures. You can also use regenerating creatures like Drudge Skeletons and Wall of Bone to protect you turn after turn. If either would be dealt enough damage to destroy it, you can pay 1 black to have it only become tapped instead.

Many of your cards become more powerful later in the game. Looming Shade can get +1/+1 until the end of turn for only 1 black, and Nightmare is a flying creature whose power and toughness are equal to the number of Swamps you have on the battlefield. Consume Spirit steals lots of life from your opponent's creatures -- or from your opponent directly. You can also use your opponent's graveyard as a resource. Rise from the Grave puts a creature card from any graveyard into the battlefield under your control, and Cemetery Reaper's ability converts creatures in graveyards into more Zombies for your army!

There are many other Magic 2010 cards that can help the "Death's Minions" deck. Duress is a sorcery that lets you look at your opponent's hand and strip away any noncreature spell card. Hypnotic Specter is a flying creature that makes your opponent discard a card at random every time it gets through for damage. Xathrid Demon is a 7/7 creature with flying who demands that you sacrifice another creature each turn, but every time you do it causes each opponent to lose life equal to the power of the creature you sacrificed!

When not even death can stop your creatures, your opponent's demise is inevitable.
