Notes

The "Presence of Mind" deck puts you in control of a powerful array of mental magic. You'll leave your opponents helpless by countering their spells and stealing their creatures until they have nothing left.

Early in the game, try to keep out of harm's way. Wall of Frost and Horned Turtle are high-toughness creatures that are great for blocking. If your opponent casts a creature too big for those to block, you can use Doom Blade to kill it or Mind Control to steal it. You can even use Remove Soul, Negate, and Cancel to counter your opponent's spells rght when they're cast. (If a spell is countered, it has no effect and goes to the graveyard.) You can also use your opponents' creatures against them in other ways. Clone becomes a copy of the best creature on the battlefield, and Rise from the Grave can steal a creature out of your opponent's graveyard.

Once your opponent's threats have been dealt with, your evasive creatures can attack unopposed. Many of your creatures have flying, which means that only other flying creatures can block them, and Phantom Warrior can't be blocked at all. Djinn of Wishes is your best creature. It enters the battlefield with three wish counters that you can spend to play cards from the top of your deck for free! Of course, your opponent might actually be prepared for your flying creatures. In that caes, use Sleep to tap all those potential blockers.

Other Magic 2010 cards can help the "Presence of Mind" deck. Ice Cage is an Aura enchantment that keeps a creature from attacking, blocking, or using activated abilities. Mind Spring is a sorcery that lets you draw an amount of cards limited only by how much mana you can spend. Sphinx Ambassador is a 5/5 flying creature that poses a riddle every time it deals combat damage to your opponent: If your opponent answers incorrectly, you get to put a creature from that player's library onto the battlefield under your control!

Between your countering magic and anti-creature measures, your defense will be impenetrable as your army evades everyone who might stand in your way.
