Hey, all.
Hope everyone is well! I know the forum posts are harder to see with the new build, but we're still here ;-)

I know I'm not alone in my excitement for SOS; IMHO, spoilers show it as one of the best sets released in years (And it's not UB, so bonus). I have 2 CB's coming, and will likely grab one each of the commander decks; post your wants here, and I'll keep an eye out for tradeables when I crack to give you priority. (As a particular side note, we don't run tutors in my playgroup outside of ramp, so ALL non-ramp tutors will be available for trade).

That's all for now, kids - be well, and hope to trade soon!

I'll be looking for the new Octoduals, as well as nonfoils of Killian and Scriv from the Silverquill deck. Also, looking for the new printing of Flickering Ward from that deck as well.

I'll be getting and posting my commander decks tomorrow, so if you want the deck versions specifically, they're yours.

Anyone who hasn't done a prerelease, highly recommend it. This set is a lot of fun in limited.

It really is. Witherbloom seems really strong.

My only actual round loss was to a better Witherbloom, they had Blech for their payoff(disgusting), I had Moseo and Arnyn. Teacher's Pest is an absolute damn menace, BTW. Yes, pun intended.

I'll probably be looking for the Extended Art Octoduals, since they're a little cheaper, but we'll see what shakes out!

Germination Practicum absolutely wrecks the game if it resolves.

Got to play Pox Plague instakill in 2HG with Emeritus of Woe & good Witherbloom life manipulation & support.

Got wrecked by Witherbloom decks with actual support & payoffs in 3rd Prerelease.

Overall fun set and decent pulls, still need 2x Decorum Dissertation normal and a Withering Curse from the main set.

I ran Witherbloom myself, and did really well against just about everything but a dedicated Lorehold deck. Their recursion was just insane. And yes, Paradigm is a ridiculous mechanic. Kind of love it.

I pulled a full-art Withering Curse, and a full-art foil of Decorum Dissertation, both are available for trade; I'll have the rest up later tonight (A few more collectors' packs and the commander decks).

Biggest pull win: Silver scroll foil of Force of Will. Current pricing is absolutely insane.

Yeah, SS FOW was $1400 as of last night, I wish I could get that lucky. My only Collector Booster was chock full of garbage to mid rares, best pull being either the nonfoil JP Stock Up or JP Brain Freeze.

I can't complain too much, got a free Blue Emeritus just for chatting and joking around with people at PR, got very good hit rates from my Play boxes(almost as many Mythics from 2 boxes of SOS as compared to my last 4 boxes of TMT and ECL combined).

Unfortunately, it also looks like I have nothing you need currently. Want some Ninja Turtles?! 🤣
