Did a $100 trade with someone with 30 positive reviews. He asked if it was ok if he sent without tracking. My response was basically “I will send with tracking, because I don’t trust USPS!”

Anyway, the cards I sent arrived no problem, but I never received cards. Other trader is accusing me of scamming him because in his “5 years of doing trades, no one failed to get my packages”. Maybe his 5 years is from other sites??

I feel that he probably never sent the cards. I submitted a dispute, and by deckbox rules he will be found not in the right, I assume… but even if I get his account suspended, I’m still out a $100 dollar card… is there anything else I can do?

He will need to resend if he did not use tracking and the package got lost, or will get suspended from trading, according to our guidelines: https://deckbox.org/help/trade_rules

We have warnings and recommendations in many places on the website to use tracking, there is not much more I can do to insist on it.

Of course USPS can still lose the package even when it's tracked, but the dispute then is at least clear. Someone will take the loss in any case. Packages sadly DO get lost in the mail.
